I don't think Dunn is suited to the midfield as he's not an accumulator. But he does have the attributes to make a very good small back pocket. I would give him the job of Thomas or Campbell and see how he goes.

As a junior he was a backman who was touted as being capable of progressing to the midfield.

He needs a fair go and therefore he needs to play where hes been playing for the AFL's Star nursery.

Dont do a Brock and destroy the kids confidence by playing them out of position first time up, let him settle firstly then try him in other positions.

Had couple of clangers so far but was pretty good in the 1st Q, three very good passes resulted in goals. Should proabably keep him in the team for 2-3 more weeks to get a better look.

Is Dunn is good.

(Except his goal kicking)

Quieter in the 2nd half but still a very encouraging display.

Certainly a quieter second half but added some grunt and pressure. Muffed a couple sitters for goals but he layed off a few excellent assists.

Dunn worth another game easily, we need to back some of the less experienced in abit and see how they go for a few games.

Deserves another game.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves. Decision making was poor. And the same story as in WAFL, cannot win the ball to save himself when someone mans him up.

Did well in the first half because he was really playing loose. Wasn't in the second half.

And most disappointingly, continued to get in the way of Mayne like I was fearing, who honestly, looked 10 times better than him. Can't see him with a future in that role.

Would rather see Hinkley given that spot, as we need a small down there, not another mid sized flanker. Mayne has won that spot and made it his own.

Good display from Dunn, fitted in well up forward and added some tackling pressure. He plays as a marking half forward not a forward pocket goalsneak.

Thought his forward line pressure was superb. Some great goal assists too. Pity he missed those two shots. Otherwise would of rounded out a good forward pockets game.

Not in the role i expected to see him play.

Ryley did a few really good things and I was pleasantly surprised at what a strong tackler he is. He earned another go if he pulls up well. No doubt there will be soreness as a result of the big step up in intensity, but hopefully the run will do him some good.

yep, ryley dunn is a keeper. We have to keep playing Warnock, Murphy and Dunn.

Not sure about Murphy, didnt fire a shot today.

But we need to try to keep Knockers despite my view he needs to grow up. Despite criticism here I still believe he lowered Freos momentum today when on the ball. Hes very clean tho and will improve.

Dunn deserves another game, played quite resonably overall.

Murphy changes our structure, straightens us up and provides another leading forward. Need to give him a chance to find his feet at AFL level.

Murphy was ordinary...got his hands on some gettable balls without marking, missed gettable shots, is not quick enough to chase/tackle effectively, can only play as a forward.

Trade Bait.
Bring Kepler back in...never thought I'd say that

we might as well use this time to see if Murphy can play. He has talent and needs to be given a chance to use it.

Just watching the TV now and it just looks like cramp for Dunn.
