Yes it is. The second the ____ing rules got changed, when we were in the freaking middle of it, the draft was ruined.

Bullshit its not, the strategy WAS to take four starting QBs in the first few rounds, at the expense of the rest of my offense.

BTW, my QBs were far better than your shitty ensemble. Its a dynasty league, i had a good mix of quality starters now, and long term prospects who are still starting.

Especially early when Ryan won't be starting, Russell will be average in Oakland (Oline is porous) Rivers coming off a knee ligament injury and Manning... ____, Manning will be gone before you know it, and you will be back to three QB youngsters..

To suggest a league shoudl NEVER change its setup is farcical to say the least...

A shame to lose you mate... We want you in this thing man... By all accounts you will STILL dominate, as much as you were before...

Especially early when Ryan won't be starting, Russell will be average in Oakland (Oline is porous) Rivers coming off a knee ligament injury and Manning... ____, Manning will be gone before you know it, and you will be back to three QB youngsters..

The players i took would have given me more points than any other combination of players available. I would have had a good team, not just this season, but in the future. It was a long term strategy based on monopolizing the quality QB stocks.

Should NEVER change? Mid draft isnt exactly the fairest time to do it. You knew about this before we even started drafting MK II.

You will still have a good team this year... Interchanging QBs depending on who is playing who and if any of the players are on byes or are dropped...

You will have the exact same batch in the future, after Manning retires, you will still have the same QB group, with a different future QB...

Don't see how your strategy is affected that much TBH... an average starting WR or RB will score the same as Russell will some weeks, same goes with Ryan...

I see where ST is coming from, I don't see it worthy or leaving, but nor do I see it worthy of egging him on and giving him a harsh exit. I hope he stays, battles through it and continues on. Still time to turn things around and I don't think it will have that big an affect on your side.

I do chuckle at the 'term' cheating though. While I don't necessarily see it as cheating myself, I had a few debates of the Pats and 'cheating' just after the end of last seaosn with gg. Not saying he is now, I see he's doing it for others, but it could be construed as cheating.

Dspeed can show you statistically Southern that even playing all four QBs every week is not a given victory. JeffDunne had those top 4 QBs drafted early and missed out on top WRs and RBs in doing so. Meanwhile, others who drafted 1 QB early, then drafted RBs and WRs, before coming back and drafting lesser QBs....it was shown that statistically either strategy can work. Projected points showing both those sample teams would have pretty much EQUAL points.

Someone with only 4 QBs but shit RBs and WRs is not necessarily going to beat someone who has 1-2 top QBs, a great bunch of RBs and WRs, and LBs and DBs.

Manning was an auto pick, but hes still got some good time ahead of him.

And my strategy is affected because its been made bogus, not only can i not play the guy i DID pick (and whether it would have worked out or not is opinion that should have been allowed to be tested), i was denied the right of full knowledge of the final rules when picking. If i had known, i might not have picked ryan, and ended up with a high scoring WR or RB that you're talking about.

As wizard explained....it really doesnt matter WHICH rule you used (3 OP or 2) because if you have good players (across your team) you will win no matter. While if you have bad players or underperforming players, it's not gonna help you win any games.

Manning could break a leg early, and Russell could get benched for being a bust. So if you just stocked up on QBs thinking they ALL score 1,000 pts a game, then your team will be found wanting in other positions like WR, RB, LB, etc.

You have to draft a good team right across the board. Not just draft 4 QBs in the first 4 rounds and think that's it, you'll dominate.

But its still only a third of the way through your draft... Still plenty of oppurtunity to get some gold... It may be harder, which would be the 'unfair' bit, but as gg said there is just as much chance your QBs will get nothing... How do you know Ryan won't turn out like Quinn or Russell, sitting their whole first year... Redman may turn it on and hold out for the year...

So what? Its a strategy, like any other, and has its pros and cons. That doesnt mean i didnt have the right to employ it.

If i catch bad luck thats one thing, and its certainly happened before.

The point is, i deserved the right to know the rules, and pick my team accordingly. Whether or not my players now are a good mix or not is completely irrelevant. I wouldnt have those players had you set the rules properly to start with. That is why the draft has no credibility.

If Ryan sits, then thats what i would deserve for taking that gamble. I have no problem with being disadvantaged through something of my doing.

What i dont accept is being disadvantaged through a vote from a league im not even in, to change the rules in the middle of a draft.

You keep 34 players. So you'd be "stuck" with all your players. If you had been told then to render one QB position taken away, and your QBs specifically were top scorers, you'd have resisted and revolted like you are now. Because your WHOLE roster would be set in stone then. Here, you still have two-thirds of your team to fill. There's a million players of great value still to be drafted....LBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, DEs, etc. You already drafted 4/5 QBs. But have a long way to go still in drafting all those other players to fill your team. So your draft isnt ruined because you would now be already going off of QBs and drafting RBs, WRs, TEs, LBs, etc.

The new draft is only 6 rounds of rookies and FA's. Your long-term future of your team isn't ruined right now. You still have all those positions to fill out. If you draft poorly from here on out, your team will suck even if you could start 4 QBs. Still 27 players to put on your roster. Do you see what I mean why it's not even ruined or drastically affected at this stage?

While I understand how 'bad' it is to change mid-stream etc. Think about JD 26/34 and the value of his QBs. Think about your 13/34 and the far lower value of your QBs. You still have a lot of drafting of other positions to make. Many important positions you need to draft good quality.

Basically.....im saying, 4 good Qbs does not make a winning team. ONE qb taken off from starting isnt going to DRASTICALLY ruin your team winning/losing each week because you have 16 other positions that score points every game.
