Eddie on TFS

Ed seems very comfortable on Fox Footy. Why would he give that up to nurse maid Newman?

They will have to do something drastic because a show fully hosted by James Brayshaw would be beyond awful.

We are a month off the show starting back for the season so a full reboot may be a bit too much to ask. I think their best bet would be to get someone else in to the chair and call it a temporary position whilst Gary is recovering however in reality Gary Lyon will not be back on TFS.

In the position of Channel 9 their best bet is Eddie. He was in charge during it's glory days and already on the payroll. He had to step down to take the CEO position however there is nothing holding him back from doing it now.

Needs one host and someone that gels with Newman preferably someone older. Eddie and Sam were great together.

Don't watch either. Both primary school humour and completely lacking in any real analysis or commentary. Both are poor adverts for their code.

They talk some NRL on that Footy Show but the AFL they hardly ever Talk AFL

He could start each show with a drum solo.

Maybe put a different D grade US celeb in a Geelong shirt each week, then ask them if they think we're crazy and would they like to come and live in Australia one day.

What an original suggestion! I stick to AFL 360 these days, and then complain about Robbo, but there's not much else worth watching. I used to be a fan of Marngrook, and still watch occasionally, but budget cuts have impacted on the production values of that program, which is a shame.

I watch 360. Geread seem to keep Robbo under Control majority of the time. I normally just watch the 1st bit then turn off when they talk to Players and Mark Thompson. I watch when Bucks is on and Sometimes when David King is on

My missus would prefer to watch Escape to the Country or similar rather than The Footy Show.
The fact that I don't object says how much interest I have in TFS.
And as for the OP, I stopped watching while Ed was still the host. In fact he was one of the reasons I stopped watching.
The boys club and Grade 6 humour was unbearable.
(I love Ed as President for what he's done for the club).

But I could see Jonathan Brown host it now he's getting more involved in the media. He's reasonably funny, can hold a yarn and would have enough clout to keep the clowns at bay.

Why would he Leave Fox Footy for being a Host for TFS?
