News out of craigieburn is that at least a dozen senior players will not be there next year if the current coaching staff stays the same. Many supporters and players want big lance to take over as senior coach,as he has already stated that this year will be his last as a player.and is keen to take up a coaching position.im sure there will be a lot of intrest in him ,as he is held in very high regard up there.

Doesnt Barnard have a 3 year deal up there??

And who is all the noise coming from?

Sounds like the Craigieburn stirrers are waking up from their winter slumber

No one likes Barnard down here, simple. Players don't want to play for him and doesn't communicate with supporters. 40k a year is alot of money for a coach to be sitting 8th on the ladder?

you have to be joking $4o,ooo to be sitting 8th on the ladder ,didnt they finish about the same last year.no wonder no one is happy up there with him, couldnt they find a coach for half the price and buy a couple more players that would help them. gee talk about doing things backwards.

Same could be said about Keilor,Avondale,Greenvale, if your paying 40K-60K plus for a coach really limits the dosh available for players ex AFL has beens are so overatted in this comp, matter of fact they have ruined a couple of clubs ie Douttas and Abers you dont need them, I think quite a few club presidents need to have a good hard look at themselves.

What planet are you from pal? the EDFL has only become stronger by the inclusion of these so called has beens!

That's it i know of a couple of Avondale players who wouldn't be there if it weren't for the fact that they're playing under Johnson.
Keilor under McGuane won the flag 3 years ago with an inferior side so you'd say he played a significant role in that.
As for Rock it's his first year so may be a little early to judge but the Jets are once again around the mark while a lot of people thought they may drop away a bit this year.

Well from what i can see the top 4 may already be settled being S'more,Oakers,GV and Marby, should be a cracker of a finals series you would think.Abers are the only other team that could come in but i cant see it which would be bitterly disapointing for them after being 9 wins 1 loss after round 10 :( Keilor after a slow start have had some good results but too late for them and the Lakers will be going back down it would seem.

I have no idea who will win,i have seen Marby and think they are a great side so not sure how they dropped three in a row,Greenvale are solid but behind Oakers and Marby for mine and i really rate the Oakers and havent seen the Mores this season but sitting on top would suggest they are going along nicely. Will it just come down to the day and line ups/match ups? and yeah as mentioned should be a cracker of a finals series :)

Keilor tried to go the punch today and came off second best, I felt sorry for the Moore's 19 and 39 ? watching today...

Matthew Smith, Thompson and Gazzo, three very dangerous forwards

So whats New boys, they always go the man and generally looked after by the umpires.
Is Mighty Mick still there for next year?

heard that andrew smith got a red card yesterday and is in the same position that brodie holland was in 2 years ago getting his playing permit cancelled. ???? good footballer but just looses it

SUNBURY Lions Junior Football Club will meet this week to discuss its intentions to join the Essendon District Football League next season in a process that could reshape three leagues.
Sunbury Lions senior administration distanced itself from a move to join the EDFL at the weekend, but the club’s affiliate juniors are on the record saying they will apply to leave the Riddell District Football League and join the Essendon league from next season.
