it's alright mate, I don't like strathmore much personally.. I do try and keep an open mind whenever they come up in topic though.
Sorry Bob didn't realize I had to tip toe around comments about OP you've got all upetty and I've said FA
Hardn up

Billyblogs just jealous of OP. That's why he bags them. He knows his club will never be as successful as OP so he just puts them down every chance he gets.
Maybe he should concentrate on keeping his club for going under. With hardly any junior footballers it will only get harder in years to come

Maybe u should stop getting into every other club and worry your own club and maybe u should talk to benny chapman and teach u a little bit about football

The fight for the last 3 spots in the top 4 should be an intriguing one. Not completely surprised Hillside won today, but the margin was much wider than anticipated.

The % difference between Northern and Haddy was slashed in one game.

interesting regarding westmeadows v glenroy. I know both clubs must love the prestige of playing on Anzac day but west meadows now have to back it up only 5 days later while glenroy get the break. will be very tough

Was there an incident at glenroy yesterday that the league may be looking into, I wasn't there and not sure if it's a Chinese whisper or not

Hi Billy, was an incident in the crowd. A spectator jumped the fence and had a crack at a Glenroy player after some words were exchanged between the 2.
From all reports it was a neutral spectator not involved with ether club.

On the game, first off well done to Glenroy on the day. As always put on a great day. Great win by Westmeadows who were the better side right from the first bounce and controlled the game all day.

Really looking forward to CB v TM this week I think CB will have a 3-7 goal win as tulla have a few out but will be interesting as I think they may be the only challenger come the buissness end

Interesting game WestMeadows v Hillside. If Hillside can win this one it's going to throw this competition wide open. I really think they could be the best placed club to move up to premier and build something "if" they were to recruit smartly on & off field. They seem to have good 18s and good 16s coming through and there reserves are always pretty competitive. Seem to have a lot of local boys in their seniors. Just need a bit of quality, flair and experience and I think they could compete in premier in the coming years..There window is open so can they step through??

Hey Gremlin, WM by 60?? didn't you read my last post. Lol. Hahaha.

You think Hillside are best placed to move into Premier and be competitive in years to come. Don't totally disagree!
This season CB will win it comfortably and Westy look as strong on paper as any other so I tipped them to win by 10 goals. Taylors Lakes did beat Hillside round 1!!
I just tip as I think it will go and will be wrong more often than not

Craigieburn to win by 10goals this week
They put on a clinic against Hadfield on the weekend and didn't even look like they were trying.. Which is scary stuff
Tulla will be there come finals time but westy looked very impressive against the Roy's on Monday and I think they will be there on the last day of the footy fixture at windy hill facing Craigieburn

Good stuff Gremlin. That round 1 loss by Hillside was very unexpected as most tipsters picked TL to be near the bottom. I guess the win against Oak Park has made them reliase they are capable of making the top 4 with a bit of luck. I will go against the grain and say CB are beatable on a big ground under finals pressure, but the opposition coach will need to be on his game. I'm not sure how CB would go in premier "if" they win it, I believe some of there better div1 players won't play premier so will need to recruit well and that's always been there issue in premier. It's hard to get quality a graders to go there. Douttas were in a similar position list wise (ie Kite) but have recruited well and that's because "in part" to the area & their coaches..

BJ, I was joking. C'mon don't be so serious.. People are happy to select who they like.
This is true, there seems to be some interesting games across all grades this weekend.
Craigieburn are obviously class but i'm hoping that Tulla can stick with them.
Hillside vs Westy should also be a cracker

CB have the community and foundation to be a strong A grade club. With support from the sporting club so should be a powerhouse. Question is whether they wanted to be.
Doutta's are a very proud club (I'm bias) and demanded they recover quickly and be apart of A grade again. They had to turn over at least half their list from last season Premiership but in my opinion they recruited poorly, too many players that were only ever going to be able to play B grade. They have a great coaching staff and enough cash to put quality on the park to compliment their 11/12 homegrowns each week.
West Coburg are a great example of where a good coach and ambitious plan can place you. Every club in B grade should be striving to do the same and if their are players at your club that don't want that challenge, move them on!
