Just because they are not getting 30+ year old players that used to play vfl/afl footy 10 years ago, and pay them sh-it loads like a few other clubs in the edfl do, doesnt mean they will have a poor team.
When will clubs realise that just because someone used to play a certain level of football, doesnt mean that they are still at their best and not too old and slow to still be playing.

If you look back to my post a day or so ago, I said the thought was based on the comments made by a Tulla Stalwart, an opinion I rate, he felt the 6 or 8 they have picked up from the bush may have gone under the radar ??

Alittle harsh on yourself but fair l guess.....My opinion is with ears they will struggle, only because the comp has gone up a peg or two and alot of the other teams have picked up quality players aswell.
News on edfl footy show is:
"Can you tell the boys that the Show will be recorded on Monday nights at EDFL Clubrooms and kids should be encouraged to attend and participate."

at work today bumped into a person from roxburgh park and we had a chat... he told me last year at the agm meeting that the auditor or whoever does the books could not account for a handy sum of money... when asked about where this money is the hiereachy's at the club said they could not say where the money is due to "football confidentiality" and not to worry about it.
also told me the club was fined $1500 or $15000 (he said $15000, but thar sounds too much) for the event that occured against maribyrnong park's juniors due to racism. the club is also on a good behaviour bond and has everyone on a zero tolerance level.
it isnt all good for roxburgh park behind the scences. has anyone heard this or know anything about it?
