yeah have to agree here boys matty does a great job with the footy show considering he does countless amount of hours without seeing a cent for it just loves promoting our league and the game itself, must b sour grapes 4 some of these boys as they aren't well known around the league or don't get a mention on the show, so until u do something creative like matty does and i'm not talking about making a name 4 yourself on this forum with stupid comments and bagging ppl i suggest u pipe down ya
GOOFS

Everyone is entitled to their opinion boys and i wonder what happened to Matty last Sunday when a group of kids playing football were waiting for him like he promised  :thumbsu: :)

Bad loss by Rox Park. 7 goals up at 3/4 time and get beat. That loss might hurt them a bit down the track.
yes very bad loss that by roxy especially at home must of been listening to the cats game and taking a leaf out of their book, looks like they're about to start sliding down the ladder

Only kicking 8 behinds on their home ground is simply patheticism personified.

can anyone else think of a time when sides went goalless or even scoreless in the edfl. This is the first time that i can remember, at least in a grade.

Closest I've seen - 2002 Doutta Stars 1.1.7 vs Oak Park 33.22.220

Doutta kicked their goal with about 3 minutes to play

Seem to remember a game at KP where Keilor did not score their first goal until well into the last last quarter.

Great win by the stars on the weekend, down by 29 points at quarter time, then ending up winning by 60 odd points(100 point turn around)!
Awesome turn around in my opinion they must be the real deal and a chance to take the A grade flag. :thumbsu:

Yeah ventured down to see how some of the players that were mentioned in the current edfl team of the year go. Very impressed with Hollow, Carey & Turner for Douttas, and always been impressed with Shepherd and Egan as players, though both were a little quiet. The big Loaf looked like he was gunna be in for a big one, kicking 1goal 3pts in the 1st Qtr. He played some guessing games early by starting on the bench and coming on after 5mins, then was kept relatively quiet by Swadiak for douttas. Papworth(48) did a great job on Docherty.
