Melton won the flag in the BFL last year with a very similar list to when Shanks was there, East Keilor played finals the year before he coached there and Keilor Park had Joe Misiti and a list of other recruits play for them yet did not improve a position on the EDFL ladder..

Spot on - Keilor up by 6gls in the 2nd quarter - Before Mackay (recruited from QLD) kicked 7 or 8.... Hadn't had a kick all year and he won the final for them....

I know for a fact that he wanted to play with his mates at sunbury and had already given his word to sunbury prior to talking with other clubs.As for the photo in the sun where was yours i didnt see it oh yeah thats right you werent in there cos your a heck ING no boby. The boys look like they played there worst game of the year, this will burn some of the players insides through the pre season. Nash shoud not have played, he would have got more kicks sitting on the sideline. I agree he looked very under done, but he was not the only one to have a bad day.
People continue to hang S H I T on G.Allison for bringing players to the club but what these stupid pricks do not understand this is what has to be done if you want to win a flag and get up to A Grade. Look at Strathmore they have got the money to go out and get these players to the club and in return they are playing in another grannie and a chance of going back to back. Why would you want to be sitting on the bottom of the ladder forever when someone comes along with some cash and is prepared to help the club get to another level. I hope for the clubs sake that G.Allison is not made a scape goat out of todays loss, or it could mean some very lean years ahead for the boys down at Marby.

Well done to the reserves team on a great effort to win Marby Parks first flag. Lerts hope they get the accolades they deserve. A lot of long time players that finally get some reward for long service to the club.

Justice was done today boys with west coburg easily beating the marby army l mentioned in an earlier post that marby were very happy with them selves and they played that way. In their own words "cmon boys dont wait for it to happen", pretty much sums up the way they went into the game. Not very well thought out by GA, marby went into the game expecting west to rain punches at them, but instead it only rained goals. Awsome efort by west coburg coaching staff as they easily had marby scratching their heads not knowing how to respond. Ash Flavel on the wing with about 4 goals, Fidaa at hf and wing and massad khouri destroying Agresta ( ego got the better of you scotty ) were only a few moves that had marby dumb founded. As they say GA, money cant buy happiness, or in this case a B grade flag. Back to the drawing board for marby, or is that back to the bank

Hollywood Flavel : great on the wing and exposed tanners lack of defence

I agree totally with your summary, wss a great match but could tell right from the start which club was playing for passion and which club was playing for there pay cheque. Would have had John Bell in the worst, i think he was trying to tag Rabee and didnt get a sniff all day.

Rumour has it that Westmeadows have approached GA about coaching there.... obviously all about him bringing 200k with him because he showed he was no master tachtician.

Rabee what a little freak probably as dominant of a gf performances as i have ever seen, was just every where and got smashed with cheapys every time he was in the bottom of a pack but gets up and plays the game as though nothing has happened...Absolute freak and an absolute gentlemen... I am tipping the West Coburg boys will be rocking Q bar for the next few days... Congratuations.

The whole site went nuts yesterday morning and every thread lost a weeks worth of posts.
We went back to September 2nd every other post was lost for good.
