His he the same bloke who runs the kebab caravan at the bp servo in keilor rd. known as funny kebabs.He won 2 EDFL Comp medals, several B & F with Moonee Valley, one of the comp medals he kicked 142 goals from the forward pocket in that year. Has won 2 Comp medals recently in the Murray League playing for Mul. represented the Comp countryside every year since the move. Has won the Mul B & F 4 times in 6 years. No need to blow this guys tyres up....his half sister is Evonne Goolagong....has a bit of the brother in him....has been a bit of a thorn in the Keilor Cricket Clubs side in the late 90's making 100's in back to back Grand Finals....yes a handy Cricketer as well....should have played District Cricket but found Buckley Park, VB's, Butts and Doutta Stars....great value if you snag him....teamate from the 80's/90's in Denny is a good friend and of course Coach at the Eagles....
No need for any excessive wages for him...he owns a Kebab Empire...

That is one of his, others include Mr Funny Kebab in Spencer St, Mr Furry Kebab in St Georges Rd, Donny's Kebab in Springvale Rd, Ali Baba's Kebab Emporium in Dingley.....I could go on..I think he has 15 in total. Has been known to enjoy his own product in the early hours of the morn. Often seen shouting General Blastoff one at the BP in Keilor Rd after a Friday session at the Linc.....Major sponsor at the Eagles next year maybe!!
i believe the general enjoys the finger licking good variety of food. has been known to enjoy the odd kebab but the general loves the colonel and sinking his teeth into a 20 piece bucket

I have heard that this club is expected to loose upto 10 to 15 senior players. There are some serious problems.

Heard a rumour down the village this morning that Keilor co-coaches Adam Edwards & Bluey Callahan coaching could be heading to Essendon Grammar for 2008...

shane jacobs and andrew wrigley signed for craigeburn for next year and scott nugent is also nearly there as well
pigmy- good news for the eagles - they will need a couple more but as at the moment could be lumped in with abers as a side who needed to pick up abt 7 -8 quality players to bridge the gap
who is the early fav for relegation 2008 ? - dont dismiss marby too easily, As if the c$$sh register is coaching they will have the ability to throw around $100k plus - and you wont see too many sides pay that and get relegated

There is rumours circulating that Gary Moorcroft may go coach Balwyn next year and take Henneman, Bullen and Haynes with him.
There has been talk for over 12 months now that if Marbi get into A Grade they were a huge chance to get a few of those blokes.
Are they still a possibility?

Funny you should say that Puff......i've heard that if they made A-Grade all those blokes would head over to marby land and essendon champ Mark Johnson has been approached to captain coach the club.
I find it that a little confusing though....Johnson is still a listed player at the bombers and if asked to move on would be great trade bait or a big chance to be picked up in the draft. Be great at the blues in defence!!
Rumours as well that Rabee has signed at marby for over $1000 a game.........if true thats big money!!!
Pillios was seen with them all on the weekend, so I guess it watch this space....!!

Heard the same thing from the horse's mouth at an auction on Saturday morning. Not too sure about J Condos going with them however.
Whats the problem at Keilor? I would of thought with P Barbuto back running the footy department all would be rosey? The last time he was involved at this level resulted in the club winning senior premierships?
He was also involved at Parkside when they too were a successfull club.
Is it a case of the "new" versuses the "old" , with the old deserting a sinking ship?

For Keilor to win another premiership in the near future they will have to go out on a strong recruiting drive, including a high profile coach. Otherwise they won't be able to compete with the likes of Greenvale and Strathmore(unless their money runs out) relying on their home-grown players . Unfortunately it is the direction the league is taking.

Has Keilor found a coach yeat?
I've heard that they are in talks with a bloke who coached Div 1 in the Eastern League this year.
If successful he will bring several quality players with him.
