Yes, the volume and length of posts has certainly come to a grinding halt due to Turbo's temporary absence.
I think he's eligible for parole at 4.18 PM today, so no doubt he will be beavering away right now compiling missives in readiness for his re-instatement, and to make up for that lost day.

Unsure, but obviously worn out a mods patience. May not have even been a transgression on this forum. Turbo posts on so many different threads over any number of leagues and all grades on different issues, that it could have been any one of 25 forums. You see him everywhere. What did "the Turbo" do wrong?

What did "the Turbo" do wrong?
G'day to all my "many" followers around Victoria. Thanks for the kind words (well think they were) and checking if I'm ok. Taken my punishment for getting dragged into a conversation on the div2 thread. Nothing seems to change with some clubs in the lower divisions with unsavory incidents. I suppose that will teach me. Lesson learnt. Lol
Any yes got a bit more productitive today at work, but without posting during my breaks, I did seem to eat more, so cost me extra kgs around my waistline. Haha
Anyway have been reading that most people thought Pacco only beat Greenvale due to Hill going down just before 1/2 time. Well I was at the game and yes Hill was playing well and looking ominous but Pacco were winning the midfield battle so were causing problems for Greenvale also. Think Pacco were better on the day and more discipline, as Greenvale gave away a few free kicks and 50mt penalties at crucial times. Was a great game though and the best game I've seen this year. Tough, Skillfull, Close and played in good spirits.
Look forward to hearing the result of Saturday's game at Greenvale and the review by you guys on big footy.
Greenvale are a serious contender (as we all know) I just wonder if Grant is the right choice as coach, but not many Anthony Rocks out there. Time will tell I guess.
All the best guys..
Greenvale was up for much of the day, the best player on the ground going off in an ambulance may have had a slight impact on the end result. Ultimately, Pacco got up.. anything else is just revisionism.
I'd be interested in your logic behind questioning Grant or whether it's just a continuation of you backhanding anyone people rate ahead of Pacco..

Hill had kicked 3 goals before he went off , he was playing well but would want to be as Pacco had 2 talls missing from their backline all day. Greenvale were out scored after 1/2 time 10-8 to 5-4 to lose by 24pts . That's hardly a team just getting rolled at the finish.Greenvale was up for much of the day, the best player on the ground going off in an ambulance may have had a slight impact on the end result. Article in the Border Mail (someone internet savvy may be able to post link)re Angus Graham says he's signed for 3 yrs at Aber which shows Abers looking to the future not just short term.Sure to be criticized by some but I think good on them.

I'm not to sure a settlement figure was requested 'Turbo'..The question is what are contracts worth these days. I'm not sure the leagues actually make players uphold them in most cases. I would assume Angus had a contract at his club in the O&M however wants to switch clubs mid season. You might assume they requested a settlement figure, as per most cases.

Still "pending" on O & M website.Has he clearance been approved yet?
Have to agree with you in the Grand Final preview 'AuckMel'.. Greenvale in a very close game with the home ground advantage telling..Tips for the weekend:
WC by 36
Greenvale by 12
Keilor by 86
Strathmore by 6
Pacco by 18
Greenvale should when by 3-4 goals tomorrow. Seen them a number of times and very impressive midfield. Bonus for them is one of the best defenders over the past 5-6 years M Smith has been dangerous as a goal kicker. One of best marks in the comp so he is a handy option at either end. Could be the difference tomorrow
Not a good sign Turbo when you start referring to yourself in the 3rd person.Turbo thinks Abers maybe will go 18 rounds undefeated, unless Pacco can beat them again at Raeburn Res like last year. Just think the big ground and there quality players will get them home by 24pts.
Yes Greenvale midfield is ok but up against McLean, Blackwell, Patak etc. very strong bodies..
Hey EDFL knowitall, I really haven't seen much of Greenvale over previous years but that Smith is no10 yeah. Against Pacco I thought he was very good up forward (with spells in the ruck). Big unit who moves well and takes a good mark. Didn't reliase he used to play back but when I did some research picked up he hasn't kicked many goals over previous years so I'm guessing he played back as your mentioned. If he has one downside is it maybe his goal kicking?? I'm not putting him down just asking, otherwise very good player.

Smith generally plays down back, but Jets moved him forward when Hill went down injured against Pacco. He is a very versatile player, who takes a good mark, but is also very mobile and often gets out on his own and starts an attacking passage of play from the backline.
As far as his kicking goes, there was nothing wrong with his accuracy when he drifted forward in the 2012 GF and slotted a goal from 45M with 2 minutes to go, to get the Jets home by 2 points against Strathmore.
Hey 'Turbo' I'm led to believe that Angus definitely won't be lining up for Aberfeldie this coming weekend..Hey Stax, thanks for your reply.
Yeah someone else told me about the 3rd person as well. Won't use it again!
Stax - against Pacco you will find Smith started forward as the 2 talls were causing some problems for Pacco early on as I was getting a bit worried.
For the record I didn't know about him kicking that goal in the GF as the Strathmore people might think I'm stirring the pot.. He does seem pretty agile for a big bloke. Anyway enough about Greenvale.
Surely Graham will get a clearance and line up, as you would want your "big" new signing to play the big games.
Does everyone think Pacco will get over Avondale as they do seem to be back in a bit of form. Should be a good game!!
