Actually, Daisy came back in 1991, when Longy had already inherited 13.
Andrew Underwood (#2) had been delisted and gone to Richmond, and Longy had wanted 13 when he came to the club, but Antrobus had it.
So Longy got 13, and Daisy got 2.

Interestingly, Underwood was #2 after Antrobus, who couldn't get his favorite 13 because Daisy was wearing it.

Daisy Williams. #13. 1984-1989. #2 1991 (Reserves only)
Michael Long #4 1989-1990. #13 1991-2001
Tony Antrobus #2 1987-1989, #13 1990
Andrew Underwood #9 1989. #2 1990

PS Anyone know these?
27 Before Simon Madden
25 before Roger Merrett
18 before Paul Van der Haar

27>>>Talbot

25>>>P.Early....who ever he is???

18>>>Grinter:)

EFC Player from the 70's/80's

I played less than 100 EFC games, but more than 50.

I kicked almost as many goals as games played in my Bomber career.

I am discribed as an extremely solid utility player.

I was recruited from a place called H---t--n.

I don't mind at all...the more the better....saves me thinking up more:D

Raines?

One last one tonight

Who am I?

I played in Essendon 1984 premiership team.
I was a gutsy little rover.
I transfered to Footscray as they were known then to get more opportunites in 1985.

None of the 84 premiership team ever played for Footscray.
Mark Thompson, Neil Clarke, Peter Bradbury, Mark Harvey, Glen Hawker,Shane Heard, Merv Neagle, Tim Watson, Paul Weston, Kevin Walsh, Roger Merrett, Simon Madden, Paul Van Der Haar, Frank Dunell, Alan Ezard, Darren Williams, Terry Daniher, Garry Foulds, Leon Baker, Billy Duckworth

Budgie was the only Essendon player to go to Footscray in 1985.

The only bloke I can think of is the Budgie but he didn't play in the 84 flag.
Everything else fits.

Tony Baughger was the player I was looking for (Sorry guys Squeaky is correct Tony did not play in the 1984 Grand finial side and that is the reason why he ended up going to the Bulldogs from memory)

sorry about that earlier on, but this one is correct.

Name the missing players and what position they lined up in the 1985 Grand Final?

B Mark Thompson Paul Weston ?
HB Gary Foulds Kevin Walsh ?
C Brian Wood Tim Watson ?
HF Terry Daniher (C) Roger Merrett ?
F ? Paul Salmon Paul Van Der Haar
FOLL Simon Madden Darren Williams ?
INTER ? Alan Ezard

What was the number of people in the crowd?
What was the score of the game?

This is from memory... Is that how they lined up or what was named?

Bomber Thompson was definitely on the bench with Harves.
Shane Heard tagged Dipper on the wing.
B.O.G. Duckworth would be one of the backline spots (Nobby the other, played on Lethal I think)
and the flying Dutchman was one of the forward spots. (could Bradbury have been the other?)
and that leaves Dunnell??
Geez my magnetic board is a mess!! - Typical Sheeds.

can't remember date, score & crowd - although it is mentioned in the commentary that it was down on prev years.
