The positive thing is we were highly competitive against a top 8 side, near full strength, interstate and without a major contribution from the usual suspects.

Hopefully it was injury and report free and we can consider it a great hit out in preparation for round 1.

Great signs for the future :thumbsu:. Too bad Gumbleton is injured, when will he be back?

Sounds like a good hit out for both teams. Positives for both teams sounds like a couple of your young mids in Stanton & Houli are stepping up and our forward line was kicking our goals instead of our mids. Hopefully no injuries to either side.

All the best for the season ahead although it will be a bit different watching games between us without Hirdy tearing us a new one. To be honest I won't miss that last bit to much....;)

You guys will turn heads this sesaon.

Sensational speed from the backline, constant tackling, made the game a pleasure to watch.

Didnt deserve to lose, I even said a draw would be fitting with probably 3 mins to go.

Ryder, Watson, NLM, Davey will all put you in good stead for the future

Midfield pressure was great, on top for probably most part.

Hille kicked a ****ing MONSTER goal in the 3rd, just massive.

Your season under Knights is gonna be awesome, hold on tight. :thumbsu:

cheers mate.

I'm not expecting miracles but at the very least we'll be fun to watch.

pev gave away a obvious push in the back and than failed to give the ball to punda on the full, he got a 50m penalty which he then converted into the match winning goal.

how'd DC and leroy go???

Surely Pev is not in our best 22. Licker, Hislop, Lovett, Hocking and even Myers would all have to be in front of him.

I'd rather JJ then Pev. :thumbsu:

Bolded players would possibly be in front of Pev at this stage although both had had interuptions in the pre season so therefore i can't see any of those players taking Pevs spot in round one.

Bsides the 50, Pev did some good things for your club last night.

Worked hard around packs in the D5o to release the Murrays, Nashs etc.

Still you'd all know your club better than I would. :thumbsu:
