Okay so am only level 6, and everywhere I go I keep ****ing dying. Have only completed the settlement quests plus the initial Concord ones.

Where can I go that will at least find me some quests to do to find some stuff and increase my xp?

I was around that level when I thought "I'll just wander off further into the wasteland, can't be to bad", before dying like 4-5 times by the bloody rad scorpion things.

Am lvl 11 now and it's a lot better now.

Have you built up your sanctuary? Just keep talking to people to get things to do and just explore.

After you Clear concord of hostiles youll get a quest chain that will open up so many different paths youll be paralyzed by choice.

Has anyone walked to the edge of the map? Is it seemless or do you walk into an invisible wall?

Getting so ****ing sick of the Cleansing the Commonwealth and Quartermastery side missions. Think I need to focus on the main mission. Anybody know roughly how far into the main storyline I am -

Stick to the north west, thats where the easier enemies are. The west is also not too bad. The further you go south and east, the harder it gets. If you see supermutants at level 6, run...run away

Do the little quests for Preston. Build up sanctuary (its easy xp) and then venture out a bit more. Just explore that north west fully, heaps of xp opportunities

Do the minutemen mission preston garvey gives you ever end? Thought i would knock them off before the BOS missions but they seem to keep going

Going back to the companions that either like or dislike an action - Strong dislikes me just putting on the power armour. Hes a ****ing mutant that wants to kill all the time! Is it possible to kill a companion? Might make that the first thing I do when I get home.

Oh and are some of you guys able to steal items from a town like Diamond City and get away with it? If i see items im too scared to see what happens if I try to pinch it. Saw a fusion core inside a container before, but I can't even pick pocket anyone without getting caught.

Make sure you check out the stat buff items. The protection you get from a vault suit is bugger all, just some energy and rad resistance. Better off with the stat.

I'm scrapping most stuff with the perk that gives you more screws etc. The caps you get for selling it is basically nothing

I have nothing else though, literally. All the +1 luck/charisma etc. are all hats or suits

Brother Mancey, your sage advice to this lone wanderer throughout this thread has not gone unnoticed. May the Fallout gods shower you with nubile young companians and plenty of chems.

Some old bloke sent assassins after me in Diamond City. They just start shooting in the middle of the market so I one shot all of them and apparently that causes the entire city to become hostile. So stupid. They could at least have security take care of them for you.

Was going to come and whinge about not getting any x3 xp for any quests, nek min 1400 xp for completing quest line, almost jumped two levels to 20.

What "underclothes" are people rocking?

Seen heaps of people in vids still running around in the vault suit, which seems a bit odd. I tend to prefer wearing stuff with buffs attached, and rely on the arm/leg/head/chest gear for defence.

Currently rocking the Army Fatigues. No damage/energy/rad resistance but +1 strength and agility.

Clean striped suit with +2 charisma when in non combat. helps with speech, plus look pimp. Add patrolman shades for extra pimp

Same thing happened to me, check all the doghouses in the backyards in Sanctuary. Apparently he can also appear back at the Red Rocket station where you first found him.

Also saw my first 2 legendaries last night. Got a nice improved version of my already OP pistol, but this one has exploding bullets

I did the same early as well, maybe around 30hrs of game play ago, last night I finally decided to head in that direction as I have a couple of quests that I need to speak to Preston about.

My legendary drops so far have been useless armour or things like "tire iron of +10% damage against flying leprechauns".

I have a legendary iron leg of lock picking.

Road leathers and combat armour for me.
