I think it just spawns more legendary mobs. I'm finding I have way more supplies than previous games, I've got more stim, rad away and rad X than I ever have, ammo is in food supply but I don't feel like a boss yet unless I start a fight on my terms. If I'm not smart when I get jumped it usually ends badly. I have decent weapons though, have put heaps of work into them. Especially my sniper/hunting rifle and 10mm

Yeah I've upped it to very hard, and it's pretty brutal. Stated normal and went to hard earlyish then to v hard about lvl 15. Accidentally went to survival and was playing on that for a couple hours and went to turn it down, saw survival and thought no wonder.

Plus I'm always running low on ammo and usually have a max of 18 stimpaks and 15 purified water. Not by choice, I just don't have a lot of caps to buy ammo, plus no scrounger perk.

So im at work all weekend and cant help but watch Fallout 4 vids. Im currently only level 22 but after seeing this vid below i really want to take some time to build an impressive settlement

Only thing that stops me is that the attacks from raiders and mutants etc dont seem to justify sinking so much time into building a fortress. I really hope the scale of attacks get higher the higher level you get in the game. My main settlement is at the Abernathy farm and 4 guardposts with about 12 turrets was enough to destroy a deathclaw attack and some supermutants before they could get close.

Would be pretty neat if you randomly discover a settlement with a happiness of zero and return from questing to see it in ruins with dead settlers everywhere.

How cool is this bit of art from the game designers, somebody put hours into this and most will just ran past and never notice.

This dude died with a grin on his face, a lap full of cash, a cold glass of milk and his teddy by his side.

Haven't really put any time in to settlements, besides sanctuary and the drive in. Even then it's just chucking beds etc. down anywhere as it's required. Have a couple of places with no defense and they haven't been attacked. In fact, only the farm has been attacked, and pretty sure the two that were there are dead, because it's listed as 0 settlers now. Haven't been back though.

Random raider just dropped a 126 damage pistol. Cheers. Previous strongest was 76

I need this. Enemies are becoming stronger and my guns are remaining the same. Although I found an untouched raider power suit. It looks awesome with all the random chunks of metal.
