I read Giancarlo didn't have much of an appearance in 6 before I played, but after it I didn't think it was as bad? I had in mind it was as little as Vaas who only has something like 12 minutes of screen time (and it's often said he's one of the best villians in the FC franchise.)

Is 12 minutes really the total screen time of Vaas? It felt like more. Maybe it was a lot of smaller appearances and he just knocked it out of the park.

Yeah it's something around there. I remember re-playing it one time and wondered where the hell he was, because it felt way less than when I played it when it first came out.. You're right though, all his scenes were very memorable.

I forgot how awful 6's ending was. No boss fight, just a shitty cinematic. They really, really wasted Giancarlo's talent.

I think Ubisoft remembered during production that Giancarlo Esposito had to be paid what Giancarlo Esposito would demand as an actor and had him in 10-12 minutes of the game.

Vaas is incredibly overrated, great performance by Michael Mando but the character itself is paper thin (due to the fact he is barely involved in the game).
