First & Last that were Younger & Older

I for one welcome the recruitment of James Podsiadly - After the retirement of Johncock (and the possible delisting of Callinan?), there were only a number of Crows players who are older than me playing -


Ben Rutten
Scott Thompson
Brent Reilly
(Callinan?)

Why is this a good thing? It's a simply matter of vanity - The day that I'm older than every listed Crows player will be an odd experience...


On the other flip of the coin, who was the first Crows player to make their debut who was younger than you?

According to my research, the one and only enigma that was Luke Jericho was the first player to debut that was younger than me -

While in effect this thread could be seen as a 'How old are you?' thread, which would be weird and boring, it's just a little bit of a twist (that some may still find weird and boring)

It's been a long while for me, I'm pretty sure McLeod was the first Crow to play a senior game who was younger than I was.

Roo was very very close, but I am three days younger than him !!!!

Closest the other way is van Berlo, about 7 months younger than me.

Now, with Pods, I'm back in business for another two seasons.

Even more depressing to think that someone born in 1983 is so over the hill...when I used to help coach kids born then when they were at primary school
