That's a good point but any player from any club could be poached if the time is right for them. I know though that a couple of players have been advised by management to sign only 2 yr deals because of the franchise (one being hammer).

Very smart to get Jamison for 3 years. He's going to be worth twice as much by the time next year rolls around. So hard to find a quality full-back.

He's had an ordinary year, but he'll bounce back, for sure.

You must have missed his season last year when he had the best goal kicking percentage out of any player that kicked 20 or more goals in a season. His kicking was ordinary because of his knee injuries, and now that they have gone, he is a reasonably good kick.

Support the players, for ____'s sake.

I think you'll be on your own, he may be having a bad year but last season was fantastic.

I wouldn't have been totally opposed to Fisher as trade bait, but he's a good player. He's also playing a different role this year pushing further up the ground so he wont kick as many goals. Will become one of the most dangerous third tall forwards in the AFL when we sort our forward line out.

He had a great year last year:
2007 - 19 games, 39 goals 15 pts, 7 markls a game

3 years for Jamieson, very fitting i think. Has shown a lot in only a few games. Lets hope he can keep improving. Is very cool under pressure. Backs himself in every time he has the ball. Just wait until they get a bit of "arrogance" about them. And i don't mean that in a bad way. All of the Geelong team have a bit of arrogance about them and that is what makes them so good. At the moment the carlton boys are just young and honest. They will learn to take the game on a bit more once they have full confidence in their own ability as AFL footballers.

Just seen a video of Jammo he is a great young man although he said his shoulder is week atm and its only a matter of time before surgery is needed but he could get through the season.
