It's not just the board that needs to change, it's the entire culture of the club. Hopefully the two premiership players can remind them of when we used to blow up the opposition.

Dan Richardson admitted on radio that they took the route of getting us into the finals but the way they went about it wouldn't see us go any further. They succeeded. He then said they did this because the members have no patience, even though we've been waiting for over 3 decades for a flag.
It's backfired due to the short cuts they took because THE MEMBERS OF THE RICHMOND FOOTBALL CLUB HAVE NO PATIENCE. It's our fault.

Regardless of extension time frame he was crapping on relentlessly every morning that the board need to be strong and make a statement saying that Hardwick is the man to take this club forward. The board need to re-sign Hardwick to show him belief as he deserves it and the club does not need media scrutiny 6 rounds in if we have a bad start. This was before a ball had been bounced and totally unnecessary. It wasn't just a passing comment either it was a relentless orchestrated campaign. I was totally against it and it made my skin crawl every time he went on about it. When the signing was announced by our brains-trust i instantly became #ECO.
I agree the board need to be held accountable but so does KB as he has power with his media platform and in this instance it was abused.
2 former premiership players are more than likely Bruce Monteath and maybe Geoff Raines
If it was Sheedy and Malthouse yea maybe good way for them to stay involved in the club
But Raines??? I thought Raines followed Brisbane
Monteath I am less worried about seems to have a decent business and football background speaks for itself
