There is no point in having a board spill unless the new board has intentions of making big changes in order to better the club in the future. Like sacking the current coach and rebuilding the list because it is not strong enough to win finals. Surely if this board spill happens then DH will be sacked and the rebuild will start in the 2017 season.

With uncertainty, potential players, officials and assistant coaches are going to be less inclined to want to come to the club.

Saying you just want to win more games as a key part of your platform, anyone can say that. It is cheap and meaningless talk.

And yet you want to continue with what's being dished up? It has to change.

That embarrassment dished up in Sydney was the last straw. You can not say the FD is in better shape now in terms of results than 2012. It's gone backwards and the current administration can't tell us how they're going to fix it (not to mention its their fault were in this mess to start with!)

I'm #eco# when it comes to anything involving at board level.Over the past 35yrs i,ve seen it all as we fumble towards getting back to where we belong(they keep telling us that)all in the past have had great intentions with mixed results but at the end of the day none of the formulas have worked and this is just another prime example.
To this new group goodluck but i,m not holding my breath.

irrelevant to what he produced- very in depth- i enjoyed the read and the time he took to put it together- usually these prospective directors give us nothing more than a paragraph out of their cv and some slogans- if this group want to spill the entire board then i would hope they have put some more effort in to how they are going to fix the shambles other than "SACK DIMMA!"- because it is what comes after that that matters--- I think/

No leadership and no balls, it's not Hardwicks fault he can't coach and is out of touch with modern footy its Peggy and Brendon for extending him.
New board, new leadership, new coach, new footy department, new ruthless attitude, no more passengers.

Hard to disagree with the wise tunksy . I'm all for change IF and only IF it will make us better. Change for change sake is disastrous.

I think if anything out of these events, it will be made very clear that change with our recruitment and coaching is a priority.

the board has been fantastic in making Richmond and financially strong club, something we have not been for a long time, however thats only half the pie. We are a football club, and like everything in the football well, we are critiqued on our on field success too. This should show that mediocrity on field cannot been accepted. We are financially strong, we now need to bring that to on-field success with the objective of winning a final and bringing our next Premiership to the club.

They already have it from what I understand. Not sharing because it highlights the poor decisions made in FD.

Trying to manage the Comms/PR so they appear to be doing something about it.
