Footy is back!!!!!!!!!!

Gee have we all missed our footy????????

It seems like forever that last years grand final was played and now our beloved footy is back, Mickey~mouse cup or not.

And do we LOVE IT? Just look at the threads, Malice, derision and defensiveness abound as our footy 'fix' delivers opiate qualities. For the Port fans the season is a success already. They will remember the drubbing of Essendon for many a year. For Dons supporters it was the nightmare come true.
For the rest of us, though, we will reflect on the first games as being unremarkable with perhaps the thought that the umpires are even worse than we thought, but then again memories can be short.

Frodo, missed the footy season, is the biggest understatement of the century, the only good thing to come out of the long break between seasons is that in my desperation to find any footy news at all (my missus want talk to me about it!) i discovered BigFooty, which has allowed me to get a bit of my fix. Long live the great characters on Big Footy, especially the truly passionate supporters who like me shed a tear every time our team gets beaten, and are up in arms anytime anyone dares to put out team down!!! Which one of us at Big Footy doesnt equate a good weekend and a shocker with the fortunes of our footy teams (theonly reason my missus wants the Hawks to win) So bring on the real thing and bring on the sledging

In the three games I saw, I thought the maggots were pretty reasonable. Quite good, in fact.
