Footy meets?

Hi all,

New member here so please be nice
Just wondering if this forum has meetings where people on this forum meet in person? The reason I ask this is I enjoy going to the games but not many of my friends follow support AFL. I booked a ticket and don't want it go to waste... would I look completely stupid going on my own??

I know people from the Swans board have often done meet ups. Try asking on the Hawks board.

Yeah same. Altho not anymore- I used to go to the football several times alone. It was either that or with my mum, none of my other friends were really interested in football. Then met alot of GFC supporters thru here and usually go to the footy with them now.

I usually organise Hawthorn meets, but am not attending tomorrow night.

The guys will be at The London Tavern in Lennox st Richmond. Probably from 5pm onwards.

I often go on my own, although I have enough Melbourne friends and my Dad such that I rarely need to for those games. I'll be on my own this Friday.
