Apparently Fraser Brown was misunderstood and is really a good bloke off the field - I saw him jump a huge cab line one time up here in Brisbane after Carlton beat the (then) bears and when people complained he turned and said "F*%$ Off, do you know who I am?" and got in the cab.... beauty of it was most of the people didn't follow proper footy and didn't have a clue who he was, prompting a huge discussion about how they didn't think it possible that one bloke could be such a tool....

Seemed like as big a tosser off the field as he was on it, only now everything has been revised and he's a true blue dinkum Aussie battler....

Seems like the type of bloke who'd excel in the building game. Probably taken his footy style of negotiating into the building game. Good luck to the bloke (and the people that have to deal with him).

Since he's doing so well, maybe he could return the favour to the blues and drop off some of those brown paper bags property developers, and Carlton, are famous for. I here they could use it.

It never ceases to amaze me how people who have never met someone can always claim to know what they are like personally.

Did you ever meet Fraser, do you actually know the man, do you know anything at all about him besides his reputation on the field? What's that you say? NO!

As for being a "true blue Aussie battler", you better believe it.
So he runs a successful business, but he worked his arse off for over 10 years to make it successful. Is there something wrong with hard work?

You'd be well advised to actually get to know someone personally before you pass judgment on them!

I think his an ********.

I seem to recall he punched a punters face in a nightclub once "Coz he was lookin' at me".

Charmer!

Yeah well that's the way the story went. But once again I ask, do you actually know Fraser and do you know what really happened in that nightclub, do you know what lead up to that incident?

It's the same type of crap that went on everytime Fraser did something "bad" on the field.
It was always reported what he did, it was always his fault! But nobody ever saw the injuries he had when he left the field. Nobody ever saw the scratches, the gauged eyes, the cuts, the bruises that covered his body after every game.
Nope, it was always "Bad, bad Fraser Brown". Sure he dished it out, but he copped it too and never complained about it.
But of course he was always the perpetrator, wasn't he?

I rest my case!

You appear to be some sort of an authority on the man.

A relative perhaps? old flame? , he does have a bit of form on the debit side but you seem to paint him as something of a hard done by angel!

Hello daddy! Sorry, but Mick Ryan is my dad's name!:D

Let's just say I know Fraser and have known him for a long time.

No, I don't think he is an angel, but I will defend him against anyone who wants to assassinate his character when they do not know him except for some superficial reputation.
I think I know what type of person he is better than those who have never met him.

What a co-incidence.

If you believe in the man you keep defending him and good on you for doing so.

Not to mention what he did to that poor, unfortunate Dean Wallis. :D

To frasers credit, at least he did that without any alcohol in his system.

I have a similar story like Harvey to Hayes, though it was at the casino and he was carrying on like a complete knob end. So I'd assume nothing less of him.

Yeah, I had the misfortunate of being in the same venue a couple of times with him..............................knob head, is being very nice. Ego, way out of proportion for his "talents". He is well suited to working at the Springvale Tip

Assume what you like. How many other AFL/Cricket/Rugby players have ever been accused of being 'knob ends' in public? No, of course Fraser would be the only one, right? But of course you all know him so well so you are entitled to stand in judgment of him.

You know what the funny thing about this is? Fraser hasn't been an AFL player for over 3 seasons, yet he still can get a reaction whenever his name is mentioned. Geez, he must have had some impact on you lot!

An A.F.L player acting like a knob at the Casino!! Hold the press.

Fraser is no angel and would be the first to admit this but if you become part of his inner-circle he's as generous a man as you would find.
No one would defend some of his past actions but like a lot of guys, he's just grown up.

We can accept he's not the only one, but he's still one. I for one blame his mother and the club culture he was exposed to.
