Ffs - really wanted to see Sturt on the park this year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think surgery to your meniscus normally puts you out for 3-4 months? I guess the good news is, he should be in good shape once the preseason starts. This hurts however.

We had Sutcliffe on Gunston, Dawson did a good job on Roughead and McPharlin did well on Buddy.

Sturt is not built for this sport clearly. That was a pretty innocuous marking contest in a low intensity WAFL game and he is out for the season. It’s disappointing as he looks like he has some footy talent but what’s that worth when he can’t get on the park for more than 5 min.

We will probably still have MSD spots available for Young, Pearce, Hamling and Hill to come...club probably wont want to be involved as it will cost money for new draftees though
