You can't do the things he does to one team and pass it off as ineptitude.
It is more than that.
His disgraceful performance in the Bombers game last year, which ultimately led to geischen's sacking, was an example of his poor values.
We all have to die one day and it would be better for everybody if his is in the next four.

I despise what he stands for.

Geez Fred
I am not actually convinced he is anti Freo, I think he just loves being Robin Hood in a game and paying cheap frees to the team that is losing to try and even things up. Maybe I'm being too kind but I reckon he is more incompetent than malicious.
Nicholls on the other hand....

Nicholls is just a stupid Victorian; he could not hold a candle to Deano.

Agree, I am confident we can take Sydney at the SCG.
We handle that ground fine.

I think this game against Essendon hinges on the selectors. We have to get this one spot on and it may mean a shock selection.

Fyfe will be back for the Sydney game. Boy will it be great to see him back

It's amazing the bookies still have us as favourite !! They must know Simpson is going to reveal himself as the new Walters !!! ;)
Simpson will be just like Walters in the way he plays AFL. Going to be an excitement machine

There has probably been three or four times over the journey that I have looked back at a game, and decided that we were shafted by the umpires.
Which means there were about 400 times when we weren't. (According to me!)

But those three or four times hurt. The opening round of 2001 against Carlton is one that comes to mind.

And hawthorn supporters certainly whinge if they feel hard done by, and so does their coach. The last time we beat them, for example (almost ancient history now).
So do many Geelong supporters. After the Geelong final, there was a lot of boohoo ing from their fans.
But not as much as St Kilda. Plugga just can't let go.

.
Belly came off injured in the first Qtr and Bradley had a guzzilion possessions;beat us by a point.Yup I was there and it was one of those "the things you see when you haven't got your gun" experiences.
And then there were the John Elliot frothing followers.

I wonder if Hawthorn supporters or Geelong supporters complain about losing games because of the umpires.

Personally I think that good teams win despite bad umpiring and umpires don't lose games for you.

I agree. But they do complain.

There are also games where we came out on the plus side with the umps.

I have never umpired so not qualified to comment too much, but the game looks different from where they are sitting.
