We’re not winning a flag with our current 22 so test the list out.

For heavens sake make a change to the system that isn’t working. Doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result is madness!

Look we're 3-5. I'm not disputing that it'll be tough to make the 8 from here but we're literally 4 points and 3% out of the 8 right now. If we get a roll on now, and teams like Richmond, Footscray, Fremantle slip up we can gain momentum and possibly open a gap to them.

This. We’re still well and truly in it (and I don’t mean shit)

As many AFL games as possible (ie when fit) for Francis, Parish, Ridley, Redman, Ham, Begley, Laverde and any kid who shows enough at VFL level.

And all in correct position please.

Fit the rest of the team around that.

We’ll end up wasting a few games on players in order to see how they go. Big deal. This senior group isn’t winning a flag so who cares...

You could quite comfortably leave Bags, Myers and Zaka out as they offer very little and things wouldn't be any worse for us ladder wise at the end of the year.

Would love for Parish to be given an uninterrupted go in the guts for the rest of the year, same goes for Redman down back. Move McKenna to the wing, give Ridley a go and let Langford or Laverde play forward.

Edit: Forgot Begley, once fit he should be given an extended crack as well.

Select and play teams to win. Don’t drop young players just because an older B-grader is fit.

Move the magnets around a little; McKenna has been an absolute liability down back and on kick-ins so move him up the field and let Ridley play back and do that.

Our forward entries are poor so give the guys who do something other than bomb it in play on the flanks; Redman, McKenna, Langford, Fantasia.

Let Parish play in the guts, that’s the only place he offers anything. Let Langford play on the flanks or as a leading half-forward, where he offers a lot more, consistently.

Don’t be so inflexible that talented, in-form young guys are in the VFL while underperforming out of form senior players roll around in the AFL because of ‘structure’.

I don't think it matters. My which I mean we can play more kids and win the same number of games. The outcomes are not mutually exclusive.

Guys like Baguley, Myers and Ambrose are not going to be the difference between a win and a loss. Replacing them with younger players won't send us spiralling down the ladder. In fact backing in some of our younger players, creating some much needed continuity, might do us the world of good.

Playing youth and winning aren't mutually exclusive if you play the right youth. Only play those who are ready and deserve it.

I think we do that, but then we drop them if they have a quiet game.

The reality is you have to have a bit of patience and put some faith in them sometimes. We don’t do that

Im not sure what everyone expected this year from the Bombers - but I thought we were around a 7 - 10 side and still think that's about right.

Injuries to our tall forwards have hurt - Brown & Smack in particular who have both been in good form (we really need to play Hooker forward now!)

We are by no means out of finals contention - there are 14 games to go, and we play 10 of these in Melbourne. So if we can win 7 of our Melbourne games and couple interstate that would be 9 more wins which would leave us on 12 wins and right in the mix for the finals.

The bookies dont have us out of it either - we are roughly the same odds to make the 8 as teams in that 7 - 10 bracket - Hawthorn, Brisbane, Essendon, Port & Freo all in the mix to make up those bottom 2 spots in the 8.
