Worth quoting in here.

Arch, Scott and Lmac will play together this week.

Hopefully with Cooper coming along next year, we'll have all 4 in the same team next year.

Frustrating we don't have a 4th in there right now lest AFL introducing special pathways for their pets.

If the games requirement was 50, very likely that Jackson would be debuting as the 5th F/S on the team.

We had our chance :(. Pykie at the time talked him right up so he was a well recognised prospect.
What shits me is there’s still a hole in our list where he should be playing.
It wasn’t like we didn’t pick up the kid because of merit either. Considering how we were rebuilding and desperate for kids to stick fat shockingly bad call..

pls remind me - what was the go with Spargo that saw us miss out on him?

His old man played 80 odd games for us, and the year after they dumped Boomer, Charlie was one of the best smalls coming through the ranks. We had the option to recruit and replace an area of need. Even if it wasn’t a true father son selection. Although rumours were he was going in the first round, he didnt.
We took Will Walker, out of nowhere, and Charlie was picked up a few picks later

Oh god that ten picks after Walker.

Tim Kelly, Noah Balta, Liam Ryan, Sam Taylor, Spargo, Tom De Koning, Bailey Fritsch, Tom McCartin. I reckon Spargo may even be the least appealing of them and that's not an insult to him.

And still a very appealing player

Ha jokes on you, if we picked up any of those and we wouldn’t have gotten JHF..
:p

You couldn’t just leave it at missing out on only Spargo

He was off limits mate. No way the club was going for a player with that sort of background.

Imagine Caro's excitement if she learned a North draftee had a dad with a dungeon.
