I know I just said Blakey is regarded as the best 17 y/o in the country (from what I've heard from media types).

In my own opinion, Thomas is the one who looks the most likely. I always cringe with indigenous players being compared to each other, but any one else see a bit of Petrevski-Seton about him?

The lack of news on Crocker is pretty worrying.

Was left out of the AFL Academy, wasn't named in the Vic Metro squad of 47, and hasn't got a game for Sandringham so far. Probably more of a third/fourth round prospect at this stage, at best, which is pretty disappointing considering the early hype.
