This is great and while I hope Jacko and Coops make it they are B grade at best. I yearn for an A grader to fall in our lap. The Pies and Geelong have been blessed in this regard.

Jacko can be a hugely effective defensive role players. They can't all by A+ stars like Wardlaw and Sheez and to be honest right now what we need is MORE "B-graders" like Jacko filling the many holes on our list.

I still think Cooper lacks the pace to make it at this level though

GEELONG COLLEGE

#15 River Stevens

The North Melbourne father-son prospect started with a bang by kicking the first goal of the match and silenced the Geelong Grammar crowd when he slotted a cracking drop punt from the left pocket in the second term. Stevens then lifted when the game was on the line in the second half as he led Geelong College to victory. The creative midfielder-forward finished with 21 disposals, 11 contested possessions, five inside 50s, 2.1, 100 Premier Data ranking points and, most importantly, the best-on-ground medal. The son of Roos legend Anthony is putting together an impressive draft year to date.

Why does this read like Geelong's 2029 premiership side ? 🙄

This may be a stupid question but does River wanna play for North Melbourne?

Given his Dad resigned from the board so as not to create any conflict of interest on whether we take him at the end of the year or not, fair to say that discussion has been had.

I always thought of Tarquin as a more outer suburbs name. We have all switched back to traditional names in latte land now anyway.
Fun fact - Tarquin is the name that inspired the modern parents naming multiplier in the Kerridge thread.

Funny, but I’d assumed Tarquin would be more your inner city name with Tarkyn, being it’s near relative, more commonly used elsewhere.

Anyway, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to anyone offended by the comments I wrote earlier but Tristan Xerri made me do it.

Anyone seems River play - does he go in hard like his old man
I wouldn’t say he is a manic contested player like his old man was, but I’ve never seen him take a backwards step in the small sample size of games I’ve seen him play. Does his best work in space though, really neat kick and a good decision maker.
