Have you been doing the same thing for 15 years or more?

I hold on to the fact Collingwood took a few years to come on after Micky took over. However I cant see that happening with Freo because Freo worships single players too much. (ie Pavlich, Sandilands) Its not they are not good but success is all about a team playing well together.

I fear it will be many more years before Fremantle are going anywhere near a premiership.

so you really do think so? in what sense, back yourself up, cos i think you could argue that the umpiring was fair, and if anything, advantaged the saints (not blaming umpires for the loss at all!) but i really don't think that they were keeping us in it.

Getting tired of this 'give up' attitude. If we are going goal for goal, we play like men possessed, but give an opponent any more than a 3 kick lead late in the game and we fall to bloody bits!

I suppose I didn't really expect a win, but being only 4 points down at 3qt it was a good chance to knock them off. Instead we did a "lay down Sally" as only we can do. Just lovely.

Admittedly, I listened to the radio, but there were not many mentions of our captain. Some times they were followed with: 'bombs in hope' and even one 'selfish kick'.

What's going on there? Bad radio commentary, or do we need to worry about the Pav's output?

The whole game was badly umpired. In the second and third quarters Fremantle got some questionable decisions as did Saints but Fremantle had more. Tell me how Milne didn't get a free in front of goal ? How Pavlich didn't get called for deliberate. Mulitple HTB decisons being called or not called for both sides. For ever shit call Dockers had it seemed Dockers would get a few more to their advantage after.

How about we just leave it at this so your board doesn't get filled up with an argument that will never get solved ? Reply to me if you wish mate but I'll leave it at that.

What annoys me about the completely negative view is twofold. It gives no credit to what is a very good footy side in Saint Kilda AND it refuses to allow for what are genuinely mitigating factors. We are injured, we are tired, we do have players underdone. Etihad IS the Saints best ground & our worst. It was our first game on it this year & they play most weeks there.
I could go on but there's no point. Some people make no allowance & give us no credit.
