It's fair to say that our development and tackling coach has had an influence on some of the traits that are emerging from the playing group so far this year.

Interesting stats Snake. Loving the tackling and pressure so far this season.

The bolded are also significant in my book. We have long given teams oodles of uncontested possessions and easy paths out of their defensive 50s, putting so much onus on our defence. It seems like we are maintaining those same defensive structures but have now added the defensive mindset right across the team. Seems its a mix of personnel and coaching. Will be interesting to see how this holds up against the top-ranked sides in the month ahead.

Just giving credit where it is due, and there's no doubt we have brought more heat with us this year..

Crocker, who has attracted past comments for change, must also get some points for last weeks tactical victory as the midfield coach. He's clearly doing very well with limited resources.

It will good to revisit this at the bye round.

Midfield defensive pressure had been off the charts this year. We are dominating better credentialed midfields most weeks. Goldies renaissance helps and the major tactical decisions like who Jacobs goes to have been spot on. Many in the media would see Anderson and Jacobs as plodders/journeymen with Cunners our only A grader but they continue to defy the doubters

Will he stay at north given his son plays for Collingwood?

Can't believe these stats. As good as our ball movement and decision making has been this year its the defensive side of the game that has been the major improvement. Ben Jacobs is a complete monster...He looks like an effete Brighton schoolboy but appearances can be deceiving. His tackling and pressure are phenomenal. A human clamp. Loving the nasty edge to our small forwards too... Zurhaar, Zeibell and Turner have real presence...no easy exits from D50 anymore. Last year teams would just stroll out of defence.

Brown was always a tough nut, he wouldn't have it any other way.
Coached the Collingwood VFL team at one stage too, could be our next senior coach one day.

Great call Snake. Since he came on board I would say there has been a marked improvement in our young players showing a bit of campaigner.

Props to Gav!

Interesting our tackling has gotten better since we released the supposedly renowned tackling coach in Donohue
He had a great rep working with the Saints throughout their grand final years, the hawks in their era and recently the Melbourne storm. For some reason we never got any success with him.
And our injuries are better without Groin guru
What’s Saunders up to this year?
I know he operated on a fly on fly out basis last year but him leaving isn’t exactly the best correlation with having a near healthy list.

Thankfully those kangatech stations are permanently fitted to the gym floors. Like all greats in modern history it's important to leave a lasting impression.

Marketing and kangatech demos. Been around to NBA clubs, premier league teams, red bull cliff divers, and more. Arden street bills don't pay themselves taz.
