Most likely I won't be going to Adelaide next week, and if that happens, I'm happy to let someone use my AFL Membership barcodes (x2) PM if you're going, and can use them.......I will know by Monday morning at the latest
Only conditions I have is:
* must be going to the game......they are not to be used to purchase tix for resale

* must be a confirmed Cat poster. No aliases or blow ins

* only to be used for the Prelimibary final as I will be using them for the Granny

Rather see them get used than not

Nice to help out other fans in this way but just be aware that if there's an identity check you could be in strife.

Just had a chance to watch 1.5 qtrs of the replay and I know someone made this point but for the first time in a long time the Cats were in support time and time again. A stuff up wasn't so stressful because you just knew someone was going to get across. Kolo was seriously huge. Gosh I'm actually blown aways. Maybe in shock and will be brought back to ground this friday. Going if I cam get tic. Hoping to bum on couch with family in Adel.

Staggering how people can claim to have watched the game last night and still have the opinion we'd have lost without Dangerwood.

And people said Scooter was finished and not worth his recruitment by Geelong.........

Where are those people now?????

Yeah. GFC after the Halcion years have had to work within strict parameters (poor draft position). Recruiting Scooter was an educated decision. It had risk. But as a club that is no longer scrambling to stay in touch we could make the call. It took GFC 18 months to get him right. If he goes down next week so be it. But I am happy we spent the time and collateral. He has effort tattooed on his forehead.

Thats what we want,.

Just watching the game for the first time. Grinning ear to ear.

Loved Henderson getting in Buddy's ear after that 50m penalty. Golden.

Same here - watched it this afternoon - fantastic win - basically total domination - except for Hawkins

Came in late Friday night - i thought - how will i find out if the Cats won ( thinking we had no ho[pe ) - logged in to big footy - there was only 1 alert - Cat Empire - posted at 11.30pm - " Cats on TV and Radio " - i thought thats interesting - why would you post that if the Cats lost - gave me a glimmer of hope - i thought i will sleep on it - and find out Saturday morning - 59 pts - unbelievable !

Scooter: 26 possessions - 13 contested. 77% efficiency.7 clearances. 10 tackles. 23 pressure acts. Joel who?:)

Great to see Mots defensive figures up there too.

Anyone notice Joel hug Chris Scott after the game? Joel very happy Chris Scott straight faced and almost pushed him off after the hug? Then straight down to the rooms and no smiles when they came out. I hope this is a tactic and not a rift between Coach and players.

I've just watched a partial record of 7s coverage that was done to record the team song but the very start of it was the hug between Selwood & Scott.

Scott was walking towards to rooms when he stopped to give Selwood a hug. Both guys had a smile on their faces with a quick exchange of words. Scott then continued towards the rooms once their exchange was over.

I wouldn't read to much into Scott being straight faced on the walk to the rooms because we know that outside of the coaches box he plays things pretty straight - not sure why it would be different on the ground with cameras on him.

Just on Scott, some of his reactions last night were pure gold. So good to see a coach so emotionally invested in a game.

One of most damning stats for the Swans from the above is their players who went at less than 60% disposal efficiency for the night:
Jack - 57%
Parker - 54%
Naismith & Sinclair - 50%
Buddy - 35%
Rohan - 29%

We only had two guys go less than 60%:
Stanley - 54%, J. Selwood - 50%

Yep. But remember to factor in that mids (including rucks) kick under much more pressure than a half back.

That kick across the body from Motlop to Scooter which ended up in a goal to Duncan was ridiculously good.

I feel good because before the game I tried my best to get some Cats supporters not to give up before the game started . I read at the time a few were saying they couldn't win but I didn't see it that way . You finished on top of them and no matter how well they had been playing they did lose their first six games . I know they were missing a few players at the start but the main nucleus of their side was still there so they had no excuse . It was just a matter of time before the wheels fell off again . I was sure Geelong would be too strong for them . However I think it means you play GWS next week and you just have no idea which GWS is going to turn up . Tigers will play Adelaide if I'm correct . So I'm tipping a Cats vs Crows grand Final which I think will be the most exciting. Hoping the Cats can crawl over the line in the end .

We'll be playing the Crows. Richmond will be playing GWS.

We play Crows. Richmond play GWS. Great watching.

The cream usually rises. And that's where we are at.

Damn , had it the wrong way around . Oh well , you have the job ahead of you then . If you can beat the Crows then you will beat whoever wins the other game imo.

At least you know the Crows so there will be no surprises. It will be purely a match up issue as long as you don't have too many injuries before hand . But they might too. Who is likely to play on Betts ? You also need to shut down Lynch who can break the forward lines.

Lynch doesn't get that many goals himself but he creates a lot for others especially with little passes to leading forwards .

Betts never plays against us, but oddly there is always a Betts-shaped figure underneath a blanket owned by Jed Bews ;)

How was:
- Z. Guthrie's tackle on Kennedy not holding the ball?...
- Blicavs' tackle on Papley not holding the ball?...
- Lang's tackle on Newman not holding the ball?...

Either way Lang was fantastic! In his first final, found the right balance between midfield/forward time, used it very well, tackled hard, won't be dropped now :thumbsu:
