I reckon get him in. Play the youngsters and have Clark ready for the following season, unless he does a Kelly and demands selection with his form.
Well…. He is a “Clark” from WA….

I'm actually heavily on board with getting Greg Clark, if it was possible. Eagles are keen, and we could take him before them (again). If he wants to go home in 2 years (doubtful), they'll have to pay a premium, haha.
But seriously, I reckon this would be a hell of a draft period:
Delist Constable
Trade pick 30, 50 and Carlton Future 3rd to Dogs for Pick 23 and a Future 4th
Pick 22: Tom Brown
Pick 23: Mitch Knevitt
Pick 32: Toby Conway/Zac Taylor
Pick 34: Greg Clark
Rookie Pick: Blake Schlensog (if he agrees to it)
Rookie Pick: Jackson McLachlin
Rookie Pick: Jarrod Brander (if he agrees to it) OR - Re-Rookie: Charlie Constable
DFA: Tyson Stengle
Rookie upgrade: Close (more likely to be poached as young and talented)
Rookie maintain (Atkins - with an agreement to be upgraded next year)

Thoughts peeps?

Only possible trade up the order is for Pies pick 27. They may want to do a Sydney and trade it out for a future pick before Daicos bid (now that it won’t be at pick 1) so they don’t burn it, then trade back into this year again. We might be a willing participant. Otherwise the only other way is if we deal our future R1 which is much more enticing for other clubs as we will likely slide down - however it’s quite risky for us as could easily be a pick around 10-12.
Absolutely, loved what I seen from Delean.yeah I thought Busslinger was arguably the most exciting talent on the ground and then he had to play deep on Delean and just got owned in a 1 on 1. Boy can that kid play. Still think Busslinger will be a star but probably just says more about JD
I wasn't overly taken with him in the game on Sunday, yes I know he was awarded BOG for what it was worth but still have queries about the quality.Given Wells has said we're targeting MIDs in the draft, I really like the sound of this bloke. Can't see him in any phantoms or draft rankings, so I'm guessing he'll be available at our picks.

Are there any highlights of Knevitt?
I did a quick google search but couldn't find all that much.
I can't see the Dogs trading out their pick 23 now that they got pick 43 for Lipinski. They've now got 2,148 points and only need 1,787 points to match a Darcy bid at pick 3. They're well and truly set.
Our last 2 picks from WA have fled.In 2021 we had four WA players on our list and only one requested a trade back home. We can't let one sook impact our recruiting strategy.
Our last 2 picks from WA have fled.
That would only get the Dogs an extra 85 points this year, no real incentive for them. If we want 23 we'll need to give up 2x of our 30s picks.
One had unique family circumstances and the other I don't think was really homesick, he just had a WA club go hard after him basically since he got drafted. Duncan and Gola will end up playing close to 500 games for the club between them. Our last 2 picks from WA have fled.
The 23 will get used before most of their picks. Its because they have it covered that they may trade it in my opinion ...but do they do it for two picks the 30's?. Is there much benefit in that as they do not need points. Id think 23 is worth 815 , they might look at 23 for 34 plus a future pick like Carltons FR3. Its something for nothing really as 23 just gets gobbled up
“Not toxic” to me means “not great”.“Not toxic” is hardly a glowing endorsement though.
They get to keep the residual points as a standalone pick so a trade is not without meritThe 23 will get used before most of their picks. "Not toxic" is close enough to "pretty crap" by my reading of that comment.“Not toxic” is hardly a glowing endorsement though.
I meant Tim Kelly. Forgot about Neale. But there's still time for him to demand a trade home next year lol.Shannon Neale?
Probably why we’ve done so well for so long if that’s among the worst decisions made. One of the worse list management decisions we’ve made in the last 20 years.
