Basically we swapped a 28yr old ruck with under 10 AFL games for what will be a 31yr old ruck with 100 odd games.

Its definitely a slight upgrade.

People complaining about losing Fort and gaining Cegler for practically nothing are hilarious, Fort was never anything more than a VFL ruck, he's 28, not 23 so the development period has passed. Cegler while older is a much better AFL backup to have in my opinion, happy with the trade and wish Fort all the best.

There is also no jenkins/jarvis.
Cegs will play forward a lot more than fort when in the two's.
This will absolutely provide more development opportunities for the 2 kids than if fort had of stayed.
and... definitely an upgrade on fort is stanley is injured or out of form.
+ could play with stanley if esava is injured or out of form
resulting in no need to pull blics from the backline if not required

Esava can get a good run at it in bankers being sole Full forward and see if he can practice kicking bags -

The Greek will get a good run at ruck with Neale minutes there and at centre half back

I if we get Schleonge back he will also get access to a key post
