I'm confused as to the logic of that pick swap. Seems to be bad in two ways, as it's both lopsided against us from a points perspective as a price for pick 25 and it seemingly makes it harder to get both Bowes and Henry in without splitting pick 7. What's the benefit to us?

Can only assume we wanted to use 18 on Bruhn (), value Henry at 25 and have in-principle agreement to do something else with GC for Bowes (my tip is swap FR1 for FR2).

Yes, but if GC sneak in the 8 (not unrealistic) and we slide to to the 3-6 range (also not unrealistic) it’s quite a decent drop.

I know everyone is up and about after the flag. Buts it’s very uncommon for clubs to go back to back. This time last year everyone was saying Melbourne were primed for a dynasty. And they didn’t lose a game for the first half of the year, yet still finished 5th.
