Highlights the Selwood and Hawkins picks in the same draft. Need a heap of luck, and to get those two out and out champions in together and to play for so long at such a high standard is a serious leg up on the rest of the field. Doubt I’ll see it again. Pity about King, just starting to explode, hopefully makes a full recovery.Ben King's knee again confirms that one player can not be the be all and end all. Imagine us having our first single figure pick in over 15 years ... and he does his knee. In fact we do not have to imagine it, we lived it with Menzel.
So whether CS is a gun or a pop gun.. we will see failures, we will see bad luck...and we will see some players not come up to the standard hoped for.
Hence, we will need more quality, we need to bring in more youth at years end...high end talent like Clark or who ever.
He has played 1 nab cup game and only seen small footage of him this year and last year, and have not seen 1 good thing, Can only hope i have missed all the good bitsYeah I saw that. It's hard trying to determine if this kids any good, there's such limited footage of him. I'm not saying he can't play but there's yet to be any evidence of him that he can. This training video didn't help.
The only issue for Carlton if those types of players kick on, they will get bigger offers from other clubs.A player i wanted was Zac Fisher i thought at the cats he would kick on...now i read under Voss, Fisher has been training very well and mite kick on this year..sounds like Voss will kick start a few players

Carlton surely can’t have much salary cap left
……we didn’t get Tom DekoningThe last time we asked that question... well you know the rest.

Sounds very promising. I reckon I near on had a seizure when we took another ruck but I'm on boardConway blurb on the Cats website... listening and watching early vids ... only makes me more comfortable with the selection, and a little sad we didn't find a way to pull the trigger earlier. He looks like a long term solid selection.
We all harp on about wanting Dal as depth.Willis looks like a tank in the Cats training pics today... Feb 16.
Looks ready to go if good enough.
No current season stats available
Rohan has more than the lords prayer holding his knees togetherWhat is the point of Gary Rohan having an AFL career when he’s not that much worse than Daniel Menzel?
Menzel was a brilliant player at times as well, but clearly too slow in the end. Tragic outcome from a football sense- a true COODABEEN. He and Paul Lynch. What is the point of Gary Rohan having an AFL career when he’s not that much worse than Daniel Menzel?
Yeah, I see he snagged a few goals in U18s... Looks more like a classic inside-mid to me, but he will probably start off as a small-forward in the big time.We all harp on about wanting Dal as depth.
This kid has forward nous and if enough early development he could push Dal further down the pecking order
Yeah that’s what I meant. He won’t get midfield minutes just yet but might have what it takes to start as a forward or dare I say it a running half back flanker.Yeah, I see he snagged a few goals in U18s... I just hope he has good kicking depth, we've had a few small mids in the past that couldn't kick that far.
Will be interesting to see how he compares with someone like Sheldrick (Swans), who we were linked to and got pipped by them. Similar types.

The confidence is baseless, kind of a vibe more than anything
I was not aware of the sisters who i assume are teenagers. We'll have to work out a way to keep them away from name redacted when we play them in round one but I think he's out injured anyway.I ******* love vibe related predictions.
I’m in on him too. Partly because he has hot sisters.

I think he will be a slow burn as most rucks are the first 2 years while their bodies and craft develop but long term he might be the ruckman we have needed for 10 years-he seems to have the right ability and attitude.
