Lighting lane and single rider is the go I can assure you.

And you must do Rise

GO Catters

Cheers Daz - tried to get LL but the app still thought I was in Australia and wouldn't let me. That said, they did save me hours on other rides.

And yes, RoR is probably the best in both parks. I'm no Disney fan but they do theme parks like no one else (though I've heard Universal Orlando gets pretty close).

Don't start that you'll wake up Jhye Clark 13

All I'm saying is that in an effectively shorter draft due to academy kids the picks are of less value.

The back end picks are yes (which is why i think we will want more than 37 for sav if its a 50 pick draft) but the difference in quality between say 10 and 25 you could throw a blanket over so the pick being pushed back by 2 or 3 (for academy players we wont get) isnt much.

YEP... as i've said a few times on here.
Sanders is the best pure mid in this draft.
Reid is the BEST all rounder.
McKercher a close 3rd.
Norf will be given a gift in Mckay comp and they'll organise a swap with the Suns.
Unless of course they (Norf) covet REID and hand over 2nd and 3rd picks.

I think north do covet reid but wce arent selling #1 no matter what they offer and they know it.

I think they will try and trade #14 #19 plus one or two of the 19s next year (maybe they also need to give gc some later points this year to trump the wbd offer) for #4. If they do that then they will go curtain sanders and mckercher or watson at 2 3 and 4. North are probably hoping sanders gets to #7 and they can trade with us but realistically whoever gets #4 off gc probably takes sanders there.

John Noble pretty shattered watching that vision, wouldnt be surprised if a few sides are getting in his ear, very very stiff considering how many games he played in a row to suddenly get dropped

I dont disagree some given some of the guys selected ahead of him.

That said i think he will stay and break back in.

Its more likely some of their depth players like fin macrae and mcinness in particular as well as harrison, draper bianco etc get targeted by other clubs. Ginnivan might have interest as well much as i loathe him.

Any chance we could get Arie Shoenmaker as a result of the Sav trade. That's a win.

Depends where he goes. May need a late 1st/early 2nd in the 20s for that.

Suns either want pick 2 or they want plenty of points plus a decent player.
What Norf player will wanna go Norf?
#16 and #22 isn't gonna cut it for Walter(2) Reed(8) Rogers (13)
Norf need to give them another 20's pick to cover those 3 and Graham.
FWIW. If Hawks pick at Pick 3 and Riley Sanders is there, he is theirs. Bookmark it.
Unfortunately for Norf they will need to use comp pick 3 on Sanders.
Still think they are in the mix for Reid. More than others it seems.
Harley Reid gives them more than Curtin would ever give them and i think they know it.
Reid is worth North's pick 2 and 3 if they get it.

Both teams that played in the granny bought some recruits in last offseason that made a big difference in them getting to the last Saturday of September. You could argue without these acquisitions, they don't make it similar to us with Cameron in.

Hill was like Stengle 22 for us, that small forward that kicks bags of goals and Mitchell more than handy. Then you have Dunkley and McKenna was handy for the Lions. (then the pies get Kissed on the D with the Daicos boys like us and Abletts)

I hope we bring in a couple of players that can boost us and give us a crack next year. Hopefully Smith comes and we get someone else. Not many ooc players probably hurts us though and lack of picks this year.

If suns trade for 2 it would be on the night not before it (because if they do the trade now wce might on walter at 1 anyway) same if they trade 4 out it will be pre arranged but only done on the night.
As for pick 1 i dont see it being for sale (if wce bid on walter at 1 its a dummy bid knowing gc will match it) wce know how good reid is and arent giving him up.

The pies got lucky that gws were happy not to haggle over hill due to compassionate reasons and hawthorn were desperate to fire sale mitchell for cheap.

I do agree that (while we wont get smith this year) a couple of low budget trades could help us win next year.

Agree.

I think Parish was the best play this offseason if he was indeed open to go anywhere that stumped up the cash (though it's probably too much to pay for him).

If Wines was cheap, then perhaps i'd be open to it, but he looks cooked. Although he might need a fresh start.

What do you think about us not bringing in a cheap ruck? Seems risky to go in as is to me.

Cats might be doing a deal to bring in Cheap Wines, as well as a bloke with three day growth. Not sure if either are the mystery mid though.

I agree i think parish was the best senior mid we could have replenished with.

Failing that a lower tier mid or two such as dow (just one example) or a kid like macrae etc (like we did with bruhn as a 20yo) will do ok.

I think we will bring in a cheap mature ruck but it will be late in the trade period and not talked about til then. Too risky not to bring in another ruck imo.

Wines wouldnt be cheap and is the wrong age profile for us anyway.

Another Jordan Clark if we lose him. Holmes will be a gun and would have been a premiership player. Still a maturing kid playing with a poor MF group all year, and people expecting a Nick Daicos level- that was never going to happen.
He needs to be convinced that he is loved and wanted. If we lose a kid like that, our MF looks even poorer.
I cannot see where he has given any indication, that he wants to leave. Can anybody point to anything to the contrary? As far as I am concerned, he is locked in until I hear otherwise.

imo...its not in much doubt that he is wanted and everyone knows that there are hard luck stories on GF day ...but no one expects it to be them. The question will be what he thinks if our year in 2024.. is much like 2023 ...and he starts getting offers from teams in the zone like the Pies.
