Sure.If you have 7 and then a dark tunnel ... then this is the type of player we will be getting excited with
All of a sudden 'why aren't we doing anything?' switches to 'can we go back to doing nothing!'.I hope the ‘why aren’t we doing anything?’ Crowd can back off now we have picked up the phone to Tim O’Brien to come down the highway as Kolo’s loyal understudy.
But we've picked up the phone and called Tim O'BrienI'm sure we'd like to do something, be busy, in the trade period but really we've got scarcely any trade capital - pick 7/8 and Esava and maybe a future pick; and that's it unless there's another development brewing.
It's a bummer because we desperately need some class in the 23-28yo bracket.
Don't stress.My excitement is palpable
This username has to be ironic at this point. So what ruck are we getting.. No chance in hell we stick with Stanley if they are serious about competing next year. He is useless.
Smith = 7 and Sav pickI'm sure we'd like to do something, be busy, in the trade period but really we've got scarcely any trade capital - pick 7/8 and Esava and maybe a future pick; and that's it unless there's another development brewing.

How many classy 23-28 year olds do you think each club will be bringing in this season? How many in any season?I'm sure we'd like to do something, be busy, in the trade period but really we've got scarcely any trade capital - pick 7/8 and Esava and maybe a future pick; and that's it unless there's another development brewing.

Sure.
But with Smith, Lord, Wines, Harmes etc being floated...O'Brien isn't exactly the one out of those names who gets the imagination dreaming flags.
We do need depth in that area though, and he'll provide a senior body at VFL level so I'd be okay with it.
Oliver doesn't feel very "Geelong" to me. But I would probably take him for a couple first rounders if we have the cap space on a shorter contract.Really happy we are not in the hunt for Oliver. Melbourne silence is concerning - very much the dog that didn't bark.
There are massive off field issues that the media won't even touch on
What role does Wines have in all of that?A four way trade involving grundy, wines and esava was floated on trade radio. Cats could end up with pick 23 for Sav.
Could help us draft Stevens, move up for Sanders or trade for Bailey Smith.
Was that Adam Cooney's mega trade for the day? Take anything coming out of his mouth with a grain of salt.A four way trade involving grundy, wines and esava was floated on trade radio. Cats could end up with pick 23 for Sav.
