Maybe at the time they rated him above Himmelberg, who has since gone ahead.

Yup. By whatever metrics and weighting champion data used, they rated Fogs influence as more important than Matt Crouchs.

Seems a bit to skewed to a couple of statistics, but also Matt does have a habit of getting a lot of ball and not really doing anything with it.

I'm the first to point out how many useless touches Matt has, but that's crap.

He can get some time on ball when one of the other players is injured, even then maybe pass. He spudded it as fully on ball for weeks, needs to earn it. I want the combinations that have seen us look okay.

Jones had 5 clearances in the last game he played mostly midfield, led us in that stat on the day (Bulldogs game I think). He’s clearly playing a very different role since.

Rory Laird would be in the top handful of inside midfielders for his last few games. He's winning contests and using the ball efficiently.

By contrast Brad was not good. Got most of his possessions uncontested, only 4 of 16 were contested. And did not use it well.

We must let Brad walk even if we only get pick 20 or whatever. Case closed.

Crouch completely nullified Cripps in the first half when the game was there to be won and kicked a very classy goal

its just heartbreaking to think that we ended carlton's season today. I mean their supporters have been the most gracious fair and balanced group you could wish to find. They also are the best bunch of stiff upper lip supporters in the league when it comes to accepting a loss.. Bless them
