Brisbane by 35 if its wet.
Brisbane by 49 if its dry.

Hoggy, I'd give Collingwood about a 5% chance of winning - if you're there you've got a chance, just in this case not a very good one.

Brisbane werent playing fantastic then if I remember correctly mate.

They were top and had just beaten Port Adelaide in a top of the ladder clash before playing us in what turned out to be another 1st vs 2nd match.

That's not a fact, you're just making stuff up to back up your argument which you obviously don't know much about.

If that was a big game then what do you call a preliminary final?

I never said they aren't a good side.

But Brisbane are a champion team AND a team of champions.

You cannot get much better than that.
Collingwoods chance will come when they players get a bit more experience, but this year is not their time (Brisbane are FAR and away the best side in the competition).

Have to admit I am somewhat surprised how so many are convinced that this will be a one-sided contest. The facts are that Brisbane lost five games during the home-and-away season. Statistically speaking, they are nowhere near the genuine standout sides of recent years in Carlton 1995 (two losses) and Essendon 2000 (one loss).

Certainly, their form stepped up a few notches in the last couple of months and they did win their two home finals convincingly. But Saturday's match is away from Fortress Gabba and the Lions this season have shown themselves to be distinctly wobbly against the other Top 4 sides away (O wins, 3 losses).

The key to Collingwood's chances of winning is Rocca. He hasn't had an outstanding game for months and if he were to play to his potential, the Pies would probably win.

It will be close. Lions by 15.

I am not making anything up. At the time Brisbane were not playing anywhere near aswell as they are playing now.
Thats just how it is.

Preliminary Final is a big game. You beat Adelaide with a couple of their better players going down (McLeod was injured before the match and injured himself again, aswell as others).

Brisbane flogged Port Adelaide in a convincing fashion without much of a fight.

On stats, Brisbane lost 5 games last year, and I actually think they are a BETTER side than last year.

We will see on Grand Final day, but IMO Brisbane will win it easily.

Brisbane have lost I think one match since mid rounds (round 15 or so?). And even that was only by 6 points to Port.

You have a slight chance, but any side who plays on emotion like Collingwood is, is dead in the water, and against a side like Brisbane, you have no chance.

You remebered incorrectly.

They were top and as pointed out, they had just thrashed Port by over 50 the week before. That was also a top of the table clash.

WRONG yet again!!!

I could say that they seem to be playing better because the majority of the games they have played in the final half of the year have been at the Gabba, whereas they had a few more in Melbourne at the start of the year.

Stop trying to convince yourself Mase.

I am not trying to convince myself, I am already convinced.

Well I could say that your form at the start of the year was due to having the first 11 rounds in Melbourne couldn't I (pretty sure that was the case, could even be more).

BS, so they were playing badly and just happened to be top of the ladder. Which leg are you pulling?

WHERE DID I SAY THEY WERE PLAYING BADLY!!!

I just don't think Collingwood is good enough to beat them on both teams current form. That is my opinion and I have my right to that opinion.

We will see who has the last laugh on saturday, but I reckon it will be me.

Fine, you can have your opinion just stop trying to back it up with your own "facts".
