Congrats to Greg. Well deserved. Was everything Port has stood for. Need to find another one like him. We have been getting an inductee every 4 or 5 years which is a fair effort given who is on the selection committee. Can't deny the great record's forever.

Go to YouTube and watch the 1980 Grand Final. Greg Phillips put on one of the great master classes at centre half back. Greg Phillips was supreme across half back shutting down Norwood’s direct path to goal. At the ripe old age of 21.

Congratulations big Kutchie. A true Port Adelaide champion and one of the greats of the club and game.

Might be age and my memory but the only player I can't remember ever being beaten across a game rarely lost a marking contest.. So strong . Made others strong. Stood up for his team mates. Made me proud to be a Port supporter.

When Greg was at Collingwood he stood Mark Jackson in a match. Greg warned him not to try any of his bullshit antics. Jacko started up of course carrying on and shaped up to Greg. Kutchie calmly cracked him right between the eyes. Jacko concentrated on footy after that. And Greg beat him at that too.

As Lethal Leigh and Dermie also learned, don't mess with the boys from the Port.
