My fri nite, (shift worker) . So sitring out having a relaxing beer, then crack. Big gum falls over a fence, fortunately no animals in that paddock but another job for tomorrow. Then the mozzies appear, grrrrr

Agreed. I copped one of those spikey plane tree seeds in my eyeball one morning on my way to work. Ended up at the eye and ear hospital by lunchtime - they sucked the barbed seed out with a syringe.

and this is not even taking into account the seeds that attract corellas in their hundreds, our previous address had its street lined with these trees, must admit they didnt really cause me any allergies but the corollas were terrible in their numbers.

We had one in the front yard. It was planted by a landscaper but we ripped it out after a couple of years as my other half was getting hayfever from it and the bloody seed pods and leaves were everywhere. We have a 60 year old oak tree that drops enough leaves, along with the Elms etc. that the neigbours have.

I can imagine finding a park would have been difficult! ;-)

Don't get me started on losing cars in bloody car parks!!!
My worst was at a Grand Final - can't remember which but in the early 90s. I parked at 6am as I was working in the media. Once the media gig ended, about an hour before game time, I went looking for my car. I don't go to GFs unless we are playing. By now the car park was full. I had lined up my car with a landmark but was now all out or whack. Took me two hours and only found it because two coppers came past on bicycles and I told them I thought my car was stolen. They started riding up and down the rows and found it. I was about 100 metres away.
