I'd settle for a Welcome to Country. Parkin tells the same stories every bloody time. Even the rusted on whorethorne supporters have heard them so many times they fall asleep.

not really a compelling case , fwiw the welcome to countries are pretty repetative as well although that fella in SA tends to mix it up a bit.

Mixed amount of luck for me. Only the 4 TDs but zero Flake and zero Bounty. Two Twix, one Picnic and two Boost. The greatest in quality were Crunchies which are only 10% better than Turkish Delight.

I'd almost prefer to undergo a colonoscopy than listen to David Parkin speak.


Which reminds me, all of you old buggers need to take the test without delay when it's due and just deal with the thought of the procedure. I had some lesions removed last year and my best mate died in November from bowel cancer. Just bloody do it.

I was the kid at school who used to give the board a scratch every time I walked past it. It took some discipline and self sacrifice to tolerate the feeling but the satisfaction of seeing over 30 kids cringe in unison was worth every bit of internal agony I experienced.

I also learned to overcome hiccups using the same method.

I get that. If times are desperate a Flake is OK. Have also been known to raid my wife's cooking chocolate in a moment of desperation. The Brad Scott to David Noble era created some moments of utter despair.
