Presently, I'd have to choose Hansen from Gumbleton as his body has stood up.

Both are a class above Henderson, and Frawley is a different type of player altogether.

atm Frawley > Hansen > Gumbleton > Henderson

Henderson could turn out to be the best because it's hard to judge young kp players.

Excuse my bias, but why would James Frawley be ahead of Hansen? What games has he won? Or what has he done? I'm not knocking any of them btw, I'd just like to know.

How does he win a game from defence? He has been in the top 6 key defenders this year imo.

When you're at the arse end of the ladder, you get a lot of experience playing in defence, Hansen has done the same job and also gone forward and kicked goals, he's also a better mark than Frawley (although I wouldn't tell him that because he'd start believing his own publicity), but he is clearly ahead of the people put forward. Clearly.

Don't see how Gumbleton can be called a class above Henderson. One has kicked 16 goals in 13 games, the other has kicked 13 goals in 10 games. I'm glad the Roos have moved Hansen up forward, I saw him go there in his first ever NAB cup game, they moved him there after Thompson did his knee and I thought he would go on to become a great CHF. Is a bit slow and not the best kick though at this stage. All should go on to be very solid KPF's at worst. I have a feeling Frawley will be the best of the lot though, becoming a very good defender.

He's laconic, he's not slow. Regularly at the top end of North's Princes Park time trial. He's also not a bad kick at goal. I don't know what happened against your mob, who he has kicked well against before. Kicked 5.1 last week.

By "time trial" I assume you mean 3k ?

If so, this has nothing to do with pace.

He's a bit slow, I wasn't knocking him but he it is a weakness and can be exposed. Brock McLean wins all our time trials so I wouldn't pin your hopes on that.

Inconsistent kick then. He was good against Port, shocking against us and a bit off against Brisbane.

Good poll this one, I would say Hendo in the long run, but it will be very close, Hendo has shown a lot has a lot of courage and is willing to do the hard work and his marks are starting to stick now as well. At the moment with Hendo it's a confidence thing, but the more game time he gets and the more he feels like he belongs in the big time he is going to be a very good player.

Well time will tell. I hate saying that.

But he also won us a game against Brisbane up at the GABBA in about his 6th game kicking from about 60m out. It's one of those taking the good with the bad situations. He's only a boy and I'm sure in years to come he'll make the right decision at the right time.

Hansen looks the best at the moment but I would suggest he's played the most games.

All 4 will be outstanding, so I will vote with club bias in mind.

Frawley easily, been one of the better CHBs this season and is guaranteed to be a top shelf KP player for the rest of his career.

Hansen is next and is playing some good games followed by average ones.

The other two are playing on potential alone.

Way too early to tell. Bit of a weird poll anyway with 3 KPF and 1 KPD. Hendo and Hansen can both play back which gives them an edge in the future, with their versatility.

Henderson:
Age - 20 yrs 6 months
Games - 25

Frawley:
Age - 21 yrs 9 months
Games - 52

Hansen:
Age - 21 yrs 10 months
Games - 42

Gumbleton -
Age - 21 yrs 10 months
Games - 18

Stats care of footy wire.

That sort of sums up the order of where they are at when combining age and experience with Frawley the most experienced and best player at the moment with Hansen pretty close in both areas and a close second to him.

Gumbleton has been injured and missed a lot of footy while all are a year older than Henderson but both showing good signs. Been really impressed with Hendo's last month.

Pretty much all are at where they should be for their age and experience. It's very hard to compare potential KPP.

If it were a draft choice you'd probably look at forwards rather than a defender. Obviously no slur on Frawley as he has been great but most would prefer a star forward than a star defender.
