I would like to see BMac in for Hale and Woody/Mitch/Langers for Sewell.

Hill is a walk up start against Ross who did not do enough to hold his spot.

The entire defense was poor and North like other teams who have success against us moved the ball in fast and deep and it really hurt us. I dont see us changing it up down back this week maybe Cheney for Doc but I see these two guys as pretty much level pegging at the moment not sure it would change much.

Good to get a game in to Mitch he was blowing hard at the end of the first and will be much better for the run.

Interesting run home for the Lads we need to get a solid block of the team playing as a group no changes every week unity as a playing group coming into the finals

Our backline needs time together to gel and get match fit.

Lake, Stratts didn't have good games on the weekend but they have to stay. If Lake gets suspended it's a ****ing joke.

Suckling won't be dropped because his game was no worse than others he played and he never got dropped for them. His kicking is a weapon but his defensive side is not good enough. His decision making and execution is also slow.

Duryea will not be dropped, did a good job on Thomas I thought and has generally done well this season.

Hale out for McEvoy, one (or two weeks) to late. Time to give McEvoy a chance to prove himself after his injury and time at BH.

Ceglar has done enough to earn a reprive for his down game this week.

Hopefully Hill comes in because it takes the pressure off Smith. When we don't have both playing we look very slow. Smith was cut out of the game although he worked his way into the contest better in the 2nd half. How far is Hartung from being fit and ready. Would have been a better in than Ross for these reasons if he was available.

Can't see too many wholesale changes, Hawks aren't the type to overreact to a loss.

Out: Sewell, Ross, Hale + Lake (if suspended)

In: Hill, Langford, McEvoy + Cheney

But, despite wanting Hale to be dropped to try and find some form in the Magoos, I honestly think the Hawks staff would drop Cegs before Hale sadly. Hope not, but just have that feeling they will.

Does anyone think that the conditions in Tassie last week played a factor.

It was pretty terrible weather and then to back up a 6 day break wasn't too good.

Not making excuses but perhaps reason to believe Hawks will be a bit more up and about next week against Adelaide

Anyone else worried about how Mitch is going to pull up? He copped an awkward tackle in the last and looked like some damage was done to his hip/groin.

No doubt most around here are going to panic and write us off for next week, but if we bring in Langers or Boxer and we can match them in the guts against the likes of Thompson, Danger and Sloane (which is a bit of a task in itself), we should win.

OUT - Sewell ( injured ), Ross (omitted), Suckling (dumped because he is not AFL standard), Lake (discipline face slap... Idiot ! ), Hale (past it or needs a wake up call)

IN - Hill, McEvoy, Woodward, Langford, Cheney

OUT - Girly tackle pressure, lack of hunger, decision making of a ******ed ice user, skills of a limb impended blind person.

IN - I'm going to kill you tackle pressure, the ball is mine and you are never having it hunger, decision making of sane people, Hawks elite skill acceptance level.

Please!! NM played interstate and in the wet as well.

I can't see how Hale keeps his place. Been in ordinary form all year and his form has worsened recently. If McEvoy gets through today's game unscathed, I can't see how he won't play on Friday night (though he has a six day break so I assume he'll be managed).

Expecting Lake to be suspended, so I expect Cheney to be recalled to stiffen the defence.

I'll wait to hear more on Hill's status, given that the club said he was withdrawn for "knee soreness" last night. But if he's fit, he must play. Birchall seems to be carrying something but Hawthorn hasn't rested him and I don't see him being rested now with the season on the line.

So I'm expecting the changes, at this early stage, to be along the lines of:

Ins - McEvoy, Hill, Cheney
Outs - Hale (omitted), Sewell (hamstring), Lake (suspension)

im not sure if ur taking the piss or not...but i feel like we r fkd
After the garbage last night, I can't see us getting off the canvas.

David just can't beat Goliath sometimes.

Injuries have destroyed us. The corrupt umps and AFL will ensure we stay down

it doesn't matter who comes in or goes out, the hawks need to find some desire to win, we need our midfield to turn up to play and we need our defense to not be lazy and leak soooo many goals, Lake needs take responsibility rather than derp around all night, less 50m penalties would be handy as well

we have played 2 horrible games this year, 1 against Geelong earlier in the year and 1 against the Kangaroos, hopefully we dont get a 3rd terrible performance
