I absolutely despise articles like this.

Against Essendon we kicked 11.17 and tried to take the game on at every opportunity.

Against Melbourne we had one quarter where we wanted to avoid Gawn, May & Lever but the effectiveness of the Melbourne press and our inability to execute led to stagnant footy. We did actually attack for the next three quarters, it just didn't amount to anything.

The fisst bit of this segment below is a joke as they've chosen to highlight and compare 1 quarter of football but Buckley was good in this, and by the end of this there's not much that they're not spot on with.

Midfield is the biggest concern for us right now, but perhaps Bucks is right.

Both believe the Hawks not only will be a great watch in 18-24 months and start making finals frequently and that we will stay there when we get there!!!! And ed also said the one player he'd take from any club is Will Day! There's talent on this list, just need more games in them and things will get better.

Jimmy Bartel is actually one of the better former players in the media nowadays. Doesn’t beat around the bush and get sucked into the clickbait headline type statements. Just calls it like he sees it with genuine insight and footy knowledge.

Staggering numbers in the midfield which sucks because our forward line and backline are significantly ahead of their 2023 metrics. Fix the midfield (no clue how) and we're a much more potent side.
