Hey guys we didn't win, lets drop over half our team, sack the other half, and play 22 players that are in the VFL, maybe we'll be better off.

Were sitting 3rd on the ladder, granted we should of only loss one game but were still 8-3-1 so big deal, its obviously working we just had a bad day, but with that said, jaxson barham cannot play AFL, period.

I was just wondering what it would be like to be Fraser or Barham and to see this forum last night. I don't think that either is in our best 22 now, but I hate to see the abuse.

Imagine if your work were filmed, broadcast, commented on live, then again in print, on radio and TV, and then dissected by a horde of barrackers, who are passionate if inexpert. If you were a young lad like Barham - of a generation that knows where the fans gather in cyber space - how would you feel reading what we think?

Many people are carrying on about out attack but our defence while only conceded 38 inside 50s and 76 points which is good, still allowed the Dees to go coast to coast unchecked on numerous occasions. Very frustrating.

Collingwood supproters who are willing to accept and even applaud the same old same old from the club and complain about people who don't are the people that hold Collingwood back. If anyone thinks it is co incidence and sheer bad luck that we have only won one flag in half centurty then god help you. Keep buying your tatts tickets.

The boards role is to ensure we are financially viable and have the relevant structures in place to be given every chance to win a premiership. They have done that. Premierships are hard to win and generally they are won by the players.

I never mentioned the internet. Since you did, it is an extension of the adulation and acceptance of half a century. It manifests today in things like no contested elections and fury at AGM questions about results.

The boards role is partly financial and also to put the football people in place to win premierships and they have failed in the latter role. The former is up for debate post 2003.


Look we can debate everything except the flag count. None of what the board does is anything but a means to an end but accepting otherwise breeds what we get.

For some, its the only avenue to voice their displeasure at an administration that has sat on the same non flag winning coach for far too long. Longer than any other club in AFL/VFL history.

Momentum for change has to start somewhere and if some voices on an internet forum get Eddie to take notice that he has only got part of the administration thing right, then all the more power to anyone that forces him to listen.

Malthouse has mired this club in a rut (cant get past 4th) he cant get it out of and Eddie has been too shitscared to take immediate action for fear of being criticised by supporters. His liking to be popular has stopped him making hard decisions other presidents would make. Preferring instead to take some roundabout way of sacking Malthouse. Grow some agates Eddie and get rid of Malthouse sooner rather than later. We wont win a flag the way he coaches and the way he recruits.

Funnily enough, it was suggested on some footy show Monday nite that Malthouse might be elsewhere next year. Good!!!
