Stanley is generally a better kick than he showed. It'd help if he got a consistent run in the firsts, rather than a game here and there where he spends most of his time on the bench.
Wrong. Many players show far better skills at VFL level simply because they aren't under the same pressure. The value of a players kicking ability is not when they have all the time in the world, it's when they are forced to kick under real pressure. Just because a player can do it at VFL level, doesn't mean they will be any good at AFL level. Stanley is a very poor decision maker under pressure and has poor awareness and a slow reaction time, and that doesn't translate to AFL.
