They probably didn't have to discuss it anywhere outside of NSW Police for word to reach Porter's ears.
You'd think that it would have triggered a formal potential National Security issue alert to someone(s), or an update to a known issue alert.
Having been touted as a potential PM from her teenage years, and frequenting with a range of future political and business leaders in her earlier years, there might have been quite a few files open on her any one time. And flag her file.
Its so difficult to read anything about this tragedy with out the source material having its agenda. In this case most
of it strongly alluding to Porters guilt.
I naturally want to side with the victim Kate here.
Its hard not to when you hear of her horrific struggles and her death.
Herne Hill Hammer imo very wisely bought up the Lindy Chamberlian case. I've also known someone in my
circle who was at the wrong end of "mob guilt ".
These days I'm more open in trying to challenge my preconceived ideas and thoughts.
The below article was in Saturdays Australian ( I don't think its paywalled as I could pull it up. )
Her statement and description of the incident is a tough read. However it does show you how the majority of
media have excluded parts of Kate's story that do not fit their narrative.
I admit i have some sort of visceral dislike for Porter, however more importantly the take away from this article, there are some concerns and doubts about what Porter has been alleged to of done.

Admittedly I haven't read it yet. I get a party wall for The Australian. If they've published it no doubt we'll all be able to read it soon enough. I hope there's content that proves me wrong. Like most Australians I don't want to believe that our A-G is guilty of such a heinous crime.'"In her words, Kate's dossier of tragedy""
Saturdays Australian
Get hold of it, I would be interested in your take J-C, particularly the last few paragraphs

Looks like it might have been removed Jammer and I'm not surprised to see it gone, maybe The Press Council has already intervened. Yes, it was that bad.
No it's still there.

Firefox is really handy for reading articles like that.I was able to bring the article up using a different browser (firefox) to my normal one (chrome).
It took him a few weeks but he got there. Any way the ABC can release in court what they held back in order to prove they weren't trying to defame him? It's said they do have footage of interviews that was held back over defamation issues. Around the time 'The Canberra Bubble' aired, I was told on the grapevine that the ABC was under threat of defamation by Porter and it had been heavily cut so it didn't surprise me to see Derryn Hinch tweeting the same thing only recently. How can Porter claim all he heard about the allegations was whispers in the corridors?
I'm wondering if they might actually have an interview with Porter's accuser?

I hope so but IMO it likely won't get to court, this is Porter trying to save face. Just waiting to see if he steps down.

Unfortunately there's a reason almost everything you read alludes to his guilt. He most likely did it. There's no other probable, plausible reason that Katharine made the allegations.
