How did you come up with your nickname?

StKildonan, just wondering how you arrived at your member name?

My story: I was lurking on the saintsational footy board one day. Reading a thread on Goose McGuire & I heard Southpark's Cartman singing Bubblegoose at the time, so I signed up under that ridiculous nic & have been too lazy to change it.

Anyone else have any stories behind theirs?

Kildonan was a player character of mine in Dungeons and Dragons.
Years ago now, when I lived in Brisbane, I had a great set of mates there who would meet each week to play D & D.

Kildonan was a name I made up (probably by combining St Kilda and Conan).
Before I first played him, I passed a street on the way to a mates place: Kildonan Street !
Cue X-files music. But the name was cast in steel after then.

He was a warrior. He wore the brightest armour and always took the fiercest opponent in a battle. He developed his own characteristics such as honour and chivalry. He was a perpetual optimist - especially when all around him others were falling apart. He was honest and reliable. (A vast difference from my previous character; Flinx the halfling who was a thief, a liar, and a scoundrel).

Kildonan participated in many campaigns. I grew very fond of playing his character and was quite disappointed when he finally met his match in an epic campaign and he died.

I first joined up in Big Footy under another name. Later I decided that I would announce my allegiance to St Kilda and honour Kildonan at the same time - hence my user name.

Does anyone else have some sort of history in their user name?

When I joined bigfooty there weren't any other saints fans around so the sainter name was available.

No such luck on Saintsational so I'm Sainter35.

LOL - funny thing was, a couple of days after signing up to BF I received a call from a new client, just about fell off the chair when the message came through that Jeff Dunne had called (not THE great man, just coincidently someone with the same name).

Does anyone know why Goddard's nickname is BJ?
Also, I go to Caulfield Grammar and there are talks of Brendon Goddard's brother coming next year. He is 15 years old and is maent to be a handy footballer who is a bit out of shape. But im sure he could turn it into muscle like his brother. One to watch out for yeah?
