There's a flag missing.

The one signifying the death of the Victorian Liberal Party.

The Liberal party is dead Australia wide it seems, which is sad for one reason only for me someone who is a swing voter, you need two decent parties to make it worthwhile voting, we don't have that in this country anymore thanks to the Liberals being un electable due to the religious nutters infiltrating the party.

It’s interesting you had Albo standing next to Dan saying pay should keep up with inflation, the NSW Labor party went to war over a 3% cap on public servants and yet in Victoria it’s 1.5% and not a word from these unions that are supposed to represent their workers.

But i assume none of the 5,000 jobs lost will be in Dans social media team?

It’s interesting that there has been a flood of teachers and nurses migrating to Vic …

I did earlier
His handprints were all over the hotel quarantine stuff up. For him to mot fall on his sword was laughable.

Search ‘the red wedding’ to see where the roots of the hotel quarantine issues came from. The aftermath of a huge reorganisation which blurred responsibility. It was Dan and an when history is revisited, the various reorganisations of PS under Dan are a huge black mark. And it’s not even over yet

I just keep getting this

This sort of stuff definitely frustrates me. If they aren't needed moving forward, why were they needed in the first place?

I'm still pissed off that my partner as a teacher receives a measly 1% payrise every 6 months while inflation is running at over 7% and hasn't seen her workload decrease in the slightest. The teachers union/Government deal completed on that was a disgrace every way you look at it.
I'd imagine, as in tech, quite a few were pandemic hires.

It's a lease not a sale, you'd think the AFR would know the difference....

And again, partial deal that is a 40 year contract not a sale of VicRoads.

I don't agree with what they've done and Labor are also very bad at this s**t but it's not the same as Jeffery actually selling the SEC off

They make the same mistake over Darwin as you always point out. Well done.

So let's assume his hand prints were all over ir, can you please explain how this incompetence is linked to corruption?

The issue was the contracting that no one recalled. Responsible officers who couldnt recall, every one of them.

So you think Xtreme needs to provide another example to justify his original assertion that Andrews is the most corrupt politician we have seen.

Sorry Xtreme, your example doesn't pass the Kwality pub test.

If you recall Labor were in power everywhere in 2007. The highest ranking Lib was the Lord Mayor of Brisbane.

Wouldn't it be great having the Prime Minister and all the State Premiers working together for the benefit of Australians.

First to break ranks was John Brumby . Then the following year Alan Carpenter was defeated in a state election.

You have that backwards, Brumby lasted until 2010

First comes the overspending then comes the job shedding. Predictable.

The issue here will be who goes. Plenty of "fat" in middle and upper management. Service delivery and lower grades in line agencies less so.

Hopefully Dan will only sack those that live in LNP seats… like the NSW coalition did with the fire funds.
Feds with sports rorts …
